  1. Cool so CBM 17-14 track. 2 active 38s 1 guard 38 2 international 38s 15 T-1 1 reserve Helo 1 active helo (wanted it) As far as active 38s, there was only going to be 1, but they cut a deal yesterday to wash back a complete international and get a second slot for AD. Pretty much.....yeah... there were some good sticks who didn't get their first choice. And I got T-1s, although I think if it was a couple classes back I'd be in 38s, and I'm happy to take it because honestly I am just glad to be here and fly. Just remember for the up and coming hot-as-shit SNAPs, a lot of guys have come before you, and you are entitled to nothing. Don't be a b*tch and take your track with some dignity.
  2. CBM is hanging at about 13-14 per flight so 26-28 total. Usually one or two ALP dudes hold over so you'll gain a guy or two after academics but you lose him when you track.
  3. Where if you finish your T6 syllabus and they push you up into the class ahead of you. Pretty non-standard in the past. Typically guys who hooked and went to CR and got retained or went DNIF for a while get pushed 1 or 2 classes back, hence "washed back."
  4. Any SA on the last round of tracks? I know CBM got 3 active 38s and the guy that got helo wanted it. Somewhere I heard Laughlin put out something like 11 38s and no Tones.
  5. CBM 17-10 Track 8 T-38 2 Intl T-38 Rest T1, no helos
  6. CBM B-52 from T1s was a special situation mil-mil marriage that had to go wayyyy up the chain to get approved, but it shows they are willing to start considering that. I think one of the FAIPs was T-1s. Was a pretty good drop overall, seriously nothing to complain about from any of those studs.
  7. Yes... CMB 17-08 Track 1 T-38 (Saudi) 7 T-38 11 T-1 2 Helo
  8. ROTC side, here's what I remember when I went up for the board. Something like 48 slots from a pool of 950 picked up to go to pilot training. You fill out a memo with your intent to volunteer for ENJJPT and then you wait. High PCSM needed (over 90). But I think theat6bisasham has it right. There are no guarantees anymore with drops. Put your name in and see if you get picked up. All you can do. Flying > Not Flying not ENJJPT > UPT
  9. I can expand on this. Duck and bluedevil have it right that grades do not matter for PCSM, but do factor in to everything else in ROTC (assuming that is the avenue for commissioning that you are pursuing). AFROTC calculates your GPA as a weighted average of ALL COLLEGE COURSES, which includes pre-college work at local state universities, community colleges, etc. Anything that you get college credit for you will submit the transcripts to your personnelist at the DET. They will want an official transcript. This can actually be a huge advantage for you as far as getting into Field Training. If you mess up a few classes your freshman year, it won't have as significant an impact on your GPA, thus less of an impact on your OM. You're a long way and many hoops away, just don't forget why you want to do this. Source: I took 40 hrs of classes pre-college. ROTC counted it. University did not. I had 2 GPAs throughout school, which was nice because my ROTC one was always higher. First term I took 18 hrs, finished with a 2.8 GPA, but once the 40 hrs transfer was accounted for (at a 3.8), my ROTC GPA was 3.48.
