  1. Same guys.. They're just a couple c130 ip's, CFI types, with access to planes. They still have the Seneca.. You basically fly the profile with them and then you check with a local DPE.
  2. I checked yesterday with the dudes in little rock.. Scheduled for 3 days, checked on the second. DPE is a good dude, knowledgable CFI's (both herc FTU dudes), nice airplane with garmin glass and Aspen PFD/HSI.. 2800 out the door...
  3. Rest in peace my brothers... Sobering day in the gas-wagon community..
  4. say what? I'm simply saying if, someone is not ready, willing, or able to deploy, than it's time to hang it up.. (obviously at the end of their contract, clarification for aborted fetus1234)
  5. I'm not calling out anyone's commitment, my wife and kids have been putting up with this shit for 18.5 yrs, i simply stated if it aint working, than quit. There are many thousands in our military that have it WAY worse than 200+ days in the 'deid every year, and wish that they had problems like chiefs bitching about socks, and belts etc..
  6. I give a fuk, what Marines think, they were double-dutching with our enemy's windpipes when the Air Force was a turd smear on some Army general's mattress. I suspect anyone who has been on the ground with them does too. Of course, I'm biased. With regards to them thinking non-Marines are pussies.. well, if the shoe fits. People dont join the Marines for the benfits package. That aside, it's a volunteer force.. If deploying again isnt your thing, southwest and delta are hiring.
  7. My .02.. I bought a house this summer (VA) with Dan and team (Amy).. They did an incredible job and went WAY above and beyond. Thanks!
  8. recognize a few of those juicy girls from Songtan..... mmm, i can smell the kimchi coming out of my speakers..
  9. my favorite resource and an excellent alternative to porn while purging the mud-manifold.. http://www.backwoodsmanmag.com/
  10. 3.. i've been lazy with regards to ccw. back on the ankle, it goes..
  11. fukking disgusting.. cant see a conviction here, based on what i know (not much)..
  12. Be there all week.. Shaping up to be a good one..

Sage EBR chassis is 700 bucks from Sage, mine was 350 from craiglist, i assume it was a bringback, that was common early when units mod'd their own m14's they would put wood furniture back on them when they turned them in post deployment. I paid 1500 for the rifle, the Aimpoint Pro Patrol i got at cost for 325.00. Vortex hider was 130, buttsctock was 60, grip was 20. Probably 3 hour of labor as you have to take the entire rifle apart to include the gas system and some of that was a pain (factory op rod block). not cheap, but i think the springfield platform is the best battle rifle on the planet. If i was on a budget i would do an AK like Shotgun News did few months ago.. I like AR's for plinking but i wouldn't settle for less than a .30 cal off the range.

Just finished my M1a build.. M1a scout, mounted in a Sage ALCS/EBR chassis, Vortex hider, Magpul buttstock, hogue grip, Aimpoint Pro Patrol. Range reports coming.. I can state that it was just under 1" moa before the optic (Rock Island gets around .50 moa on this rig with a 22" barrel and a Leupold before the issue it to our boys down range).
  16. i think more people are riding too, especially with gas prices up. I see a ton more bikes on base (everywhere, for that matter). Its getting to be more and more like europe, where everyone rides, as our gas prices begin to match theirs.. I see little old ladies on scooters, and even more concerning is the number of bikes im seeing in the high school parking lot in my town.. Hell, my wife just bought a sportster, which scares the shit out of me, but it was either let her buy one, or sell mine.. bottom line remains, and it's been mentioned.. attention to detail in all areas; ppe, route, tactics, equipment, etc..
  17. "those tit's are too-big" "her waist is too small" "I'd like to buy a ZIma for the chick at the end of the bar.. the one in 501's and a flannel" "negative, on the overhead... I'll take vectors ILS"
  18. where the F was this chick when i was 15?!?! (of course, er, i've never been in a tanning salon) http://www.foxnews.com/us/2012/06/26/oklahoma-woman-charged-with-lewd-acts-with-minor-in-tanning-booth/?intcmp=obinsite
  19. Not the same "bug' roach i served with at KNBC in the mid '90's. .. good read nonetheless.. actually a great read and i feel bad having not known the real "bug" roach..
  20. where is bug roach these days?
  21. that -8 is marked with the "crusaders" logo, the candystripers was a werewolf riding a whiskey bottle.. here's the original candystripers logo..
  22. i just visualized, not you, but a hot chick; pooping in a bag while double-clicking her mouse punching me in the face and nailing my wife, all right next to the af chick breast feeding her trike-motor. seems natural..
  23. it depends. . . . i personally know two dudes in the last year that got hired at the mins (1 SWA last summer, and one FEDEX, weeks ago). I'm talking 3000 TT, 1000 PIC dudes. I know a chief pilot at delta who says in 2013 (starting), they wont be able to keep up with retirements. FEDEX still requires a sponsor, Atlas should call, and Alaska is a family network of good old boys.. good luck..
