Promotion and PRF Information
Everyone knows about the strat lists that the wings have....has anyone seen AAD and PME in-res/corr w/date complete removed from those sheets? That will tell you if this new mentality is truly happening. I know the one at my unit still has that info on it.

I'm in AFSPC...mine just said PDE Complete as well with no specifics.

Promotion and PRF Information
Got my DQHB today and found my academic info blank. I immediately thought I was going to have to fix it until I read the instructions attached that said effective 1 Dec 14, academic data is masked for any promotion board under O-6. First real proof I've seen that masking academic data is happening instead of just reading or hearing about it at commander calls.

SOS/ACSC information
Has anyone taken the OLMP-Leadership degree (the captains one) and then take this new ACSC distance learning course??? Just wondering if it is different or pretty redundant...

Study: Nuclear Force Feeling 'Burnout' from Work
Just pulled a stat out of thin air…just like it appears the peeps at A1 and AFPC did with all these manning matrixes.

Gen Welsh - USAF Chief of Staff
Even if the masters gets masked for the promotion boards, what about all the upcoming RIF/FSBs? Will it be shown there??? If it is, still have an AAD problem with people trying to get it done regardless.

Isn't half the stuff the Air Force Times publishes based off rumor? ;-) Thanks for the link. Guess that's where the guys I heard it from got it.

Study: Nuclear Force Feeling 'Burnout' from Work
Rumor has it that the SECDEF got all the numbers to the capsules and are calling crew dogs directly to ask them how things are going. That would be a fun phone call to take...

Deterrence only works if it's credible. ;-)

FY 14 Force Management Program (RIF, VSP, TERA)
So, found this doing a search on e-pubs. Goes into detail on how a RIF board operates. Of note is that it specifically addresses (and no kidding refers to them as) "Do not retain me" letters. The board president can move someone down in their retention ranking based off submitting a "do not retain me" letter. https://static.e-publishing.af.mil/production/1/afpc/publication/afpci36-109/afpci36-109.pdf

Join Spouse Info (Married military couples)
We all have considerations we hope our bosses take to heart. All we can control is to not be "that guy" should we be in that position ourselves some day.

Military retirement under attack
I'm not, I just find it sad at this point. I was shown a chart the other day displaying how sharply the number of veterans serving in congress have decreased over the years. I think that's really starting to hurt us on top of everything else.

Join Spouse Info (Married military couples)
Was totally not bitching…like I said, it is something we entered into knowingly. I also posted this in a join spouse thread. I wasn't looking for your sympathy. I find it hilarious that on this board as a whole people complain about Air Force leaders not caring about their people, and yet I just mention that join spouse is a dynamic I face with my career and people come out saying they don't give a f&*(&. That's fine, I just hope you are never in charge of me or someone else who has a family concern that would need your assistance is helping them out with their particular situation. I don't think I'm special being join spouse, I just want it to be a factor to be legitamitely considered when I receive my next assignment. As you all know, the Air Force has regs in place to do so, but it really depends on whether that happens or not. I just wanted to pass along to others to be proactive in their assignments and not just assume that AFPC will take care of it.

At a commander's call we were told to ensure we check our records for accuracy, but there wasn't anything about an actual one-on-one review.
