Just bought a Baby Eagle in .40 today. Awesome weapon, fits my hand perfectly. Pick it up Tuesday from the shop.

When our Wing CC retired, the Ops group actually had a HUD combining glass, frame and all, mounted on a wooden base and engraved. The glass was etched with all the appropriate HUD symbology and a Viper in the pipper (we're an Eagle Guard unit). It was badass and a really cool going away gift. He also got a chromed gun barrel on a plaque, which was killer looking, too.

Nope, GI bill will not pay for a Private Pilot's License. I have been down this road myself. It will cover costs for additional ratings AFTER PPL. The costs for the initial PPL are gonna have to come out of your pocket. There are loan options available for this as well. Good luck bro.
