TVs / Cable / Satellite in Europe
The UK has a version of Netflix that i was using for a while when blu ray first started. Was playing them on my US PS3. Eventually they started region coding more and more discs so we ended up cancelling it though.

Yeah, there were at least 300 price tags with no boxes above them. There was also signs EVERYWHERE stating the limits. Everything was limited to 2 boxes but some had limits of 1 per customer. Crazy.

Power will work with no issues other than a plug adapter but I'm not sure on the PAL deal.

Back in the States on leave and stopped by a Scheels to dream. They didn't have SQAUT for handgun ammo. Is that standard lately?

One-way Airline Tickets
We only have a 1.5 hour layover. Will be cutting it close with getting through customs and what not. I'm counting on not making it as there isn't another flight into OMA that night. If that happens we'll be good because it will be better for us to leave back out of OMA anyway. We'll see I guess.

One-way Airline Tickets
I hear this quite often but I have been using them for 4 years now quite frequently and haven't had any issues other than the non stop sales to passengers while in the air. Well worth it for the cheap fares.

One-way Airline Tickets
To piggyback on this thread, what is the reasoning behind the following situation for the airline I have a round trip flight booked from UK to Nebraska with a plane swap in MSP. Our families plans have changed and it would be better for us to just get off and stay off in MSP rather than take the puddle jumper down to Omaha. Called the airline and they say that if we don't use the whole ticket, the return trip will be canceled. Can someone give me a reason why this would be? In my eyes, the airline is making out both ways as the plane will be three people lighter and they are still getting their money. They can even open those seats to standby passengers.

Anyone see a $2.00 ATM Service fee show up? Normally I get about 12 dollars BACK for fees. This month I was charged $2.00. Don't think I used the ATM's that much more this month.

What do you guys pay for your plans? I've heard it is up near 70 dollars a month!

Concussion/Head injury
Going to attempt to cross into the FE world this summer. I had a bad concussion back in 98 (high school). Is this going to require a waiver for my flight physical?

"Red Eagles: America's Secret MiGs"
Finished it the other night. Great stuff. Not a pilot but would have loved to be a fly on the wall out there during the years. Really wish the maintainers would have ponied up some info for the book. I'm sure some of the miracles they pulled off on a daily basis will be good fodder for another book :)

"Red Eagles: America's Secret MiGs"
Sorry Steve, I should have told you they gave me grief about them as well. I just marked them out and came back the next day. Didn't know you were sending more out.

The Jill Metzger thread
What a letdown. I appreciate the work these guys are doing but they are starting to sound a bit whacko to me.
