Gotta give credit where due. Biden is great around kids.
Here, he hands out packs of cigarettes to desperate children in this wholesome White house Halloween party.

Does anybody not think that this GO would have personally signed off on the punishment/negative admin actions  of IPs for having consensual sex with students?  As for whether or not this GO was having consensual sex with a direct subordinate, I don’t know…but he had to know it was wrong (on many levels) and it definitely enters the zone of negative command influence…just like with IPs and students, if the student said they felt pressured, then that’s what they go with.  So if the allegations are supported with facts/he is convicted and he serves some jail time, I won’t have a problem with it.
Yup. Not anything close to rape but dude needs to go away at a minimum. Â

Boldface confirmed?
https://www.cnn.com/2023/10/23/us/alaska-airlines-passenger/index.html
QuoteAn off-duty pilot riding as a passenger in the cockpit of an Alaska Airlines flight Sunday tried to seize control of the plane headed from Seattle to San Francisco, forcing the flight to divert to Portland, Oregon, according to the airline and a source familiar with the matter.
A pilot assigned to the flight told air traffic controllers a person riding in the cockpit of flight 2059 attempted to turn off the aircraft’s engines in flight. Pilots will occasionally ride a cockpit “jump seat” when traveling in an official capacity or commuting to another airport.
Joseph Emerson, 44, has been arrested by the Port of Portland Police Department and charged with 83 felony counts of attempted murder, 83 counts of reckless endangerment and one count of endangering an aircraft, online booking records show.

Arent Ukrainian Males in forced conscription? Â So yeah they kinda are forced to fight.
The war goes back to 2014 with the Maiden uprising. Â Losing the pro Russia govt is what pushed Putin. The question is how involved was the US in those uprisings? Â State Dept was there. Â Not saying this is just cause for Putin but an expansion eastward of Western influence put him in a defensive position.
A question to ask is if/when western support dries up in Ukraine and Russia eventually wins...will that loss of life be worth it for Ukraine? Â Did we just help delay the inevitable and cause more death and destruction for a goal of making Putin's military weaker.
I dont think Putin is stupid. Â I think a lot of things going on now are all related.
At every setback/defeat/victory in the last 2 years, there is always the comment of "I don't think Putin is stupid". Every time there was a fuckup, there were people there to state "this is all part of the plan". How long does this go on? I don't think Putin is necessarily stupid but he certainly isn't smart. He was fed a bunch of non-stop bullshit on the state of his forces and he believed it. He DRASITCALLY underestimated the will of the Ukrainian people and more importantly the will of the western world to supply and defend them. Â

Remember abortion (killing of some sort of helpless creature inside of a woman)? War is like abortion for adults.  Here is your time to shine with your Palestinian lovers.

Possibly unpopular take here but if the CC literally said “yeah, go have fun” after some guy said “let me go rip it around for a bit, it’ll be fine”, he’s an idiot. Those maneuvers are well within the capability of any Eagle Driver and the airplane but a demo is a very specific skill and a lot more too it than plugging the AB and going for it.
Yup. Big difference between doing it out on the range or MOA versus doing it within 1/4 mile of a couple thousand people watching on the flightline. Â

Okay, yes, this person is clearly not working 911 part time to pay for their mensa membership. But.
Â
If you're the pilot that just ejected out of a fighter aircraft and you're sitting in some guy's house calling 911, don't you think you would maybe take a little bit more control over the conversation rather than answer stupid questions that only make the person on the other end more confused?
Â
This guy is 47 years old and in the military, so ostensibly has some sort of leadership experience under his belt. If you can't lead one moron into sending an ambulance without a 15 minute discussion about how ejections work, it might not be the 911 operator that's the problem.
Shack. I'm sure this is very common for dispatchers to handle.....Lady has spent all morning talking to hundreds of people with colds, too fat, heart attacks and so forth. Comprehending that "there is a pilot in my house" to "I just ejected" is nuts. Cut her some slack. If she doesn't ask those questions she probably gets 10 demerits. To top it off, nothing is being delayed with her questions. The busses are rolling right off the bat. She's just getting info to pass to the busses. Â

Wonder what a negotiated 'truce' looks like for Russia at this point. Ukrainians aren't going to stop fighting in Crimea for a long time. It won't be force on force like now but I can't imagine it will be a comfortable lifestyle for anyone truly Russian in those areas.  Â

A Marine Corps pilot safely ejected from a fighter jet over North Charleston on Sunday afternoon and the search for his missing aircraft was focused on two lakes north of North Charleston, military officials said.
The pilot ejected and parachuted safely into a North Charleston neighborhood at about 2 p.m. He was taken to a local hospital, where he was in stable condition, said Maj. Melanie Salinas. The pilot’s name has not been released.
Based on the missing plane’s location and trajectory, the search for the F-35 Lightning II jet was focused on Lake Moultrie and Lake Marion, said Senior Master Sgt. Heather Stanton at Joint Base Charleston. Both lakes are north of North Charleston.
