  1. A little tidbit of information that’s not really well known. A waiver has been passed that allows afsc 18s to fly as a mission system officer on the RC-26. Mostly meant for the two bases where rpa and the RC26s are co-located, but might work elsewhere. I️ thought I’d drop that little nugget here. Cheers!
  2. Hey all, Guard bum here, going to URT at Randolph in the next few months. It’s a tdy for me and I’m bringing my wife and kid, are the circumstances and different for URT than PIT? I was hoping for a non a letter and stay somewhere nice. Cheers
  3. Anyone been through the pipeline or are in it now for an updated timeline? I'm coming from a guard unit and my follow on can be at March, Holloman or Syracuse. Cheers! Sent from my iPhone using Baseops Network Forums
  4. Right now about any state that has a RC-26 needs MSO's. There just aren't many 12xs out there, so if interested I can point you in the right direction. Sent from my iPhone using Baseops Network Forums
  5. Looking for any advice/insight on an offer I'm considering. I'm a DSG with full time orders in a program that doesn't have a certain future, but would most likely last at least 2-3 years. I'm still a ways off from retirement, ~14 years to go, O-3 looking to pin on O-4 next year. I've been offered the Wing XP position, but they are switching it from a AGR position to a Technician Position to save on resources. It will be a GS-13 position, not sure of what step. I'll maintain being a DSG with current unit and still drill and fly when able. If anyone has any experience with any of these variable's to help me make a decision, I'd appreciate it. I don't think either scenario is bad, just want to see if there are any major gotcha's associated with any of this.
  6. There's a UPT RC-26 job posting right now. http://www.agd.state.tx.us/jobs/air/traditional/147/147-14-25%20UPT.pdf
  7. Right now they'll probably be taking on RPA pilots, they'll be switching from MQ-1's to MQ-9's and need a lot of people to cover current ops as well as people to go get trained on the new aircraft.
  8. Im in the 147th CDO right now. No job postings right now, but could be in the near future. We're short a pilot and may be short a MSO soon.
