  1. Looking for any advice/insight on an offer I'm considering. I'm a DSG with full time orders in a program that doesn't have a certain future, but would most likely last at least 2-3 years. I'm still a ways off from retirement, ~14 years to go, O-3 looking to pin on O-4 next year. I've been offered the Wing XP position, but they are switching it from a AGR position to a Technician Position to save on resources. It will be a GS-13 position, not sure of what step. I'll maintain being a DSG with current unit and still drill and fly when able. If anyone has any experience with any of these variable's to help me make a decision, I'd appreciate it. I don't think either scenario is bad, just want to see if there are any major gotcha's associated with any of this.
  2. https://www.usajobs.gov/GetJob/ViewDetails/452820400/ Getting out of the Active Duty? Looking to move tot the Northeast? You're in luck...two Airplane Flight Instructor positions open at Pease ANGB. Looking for commissioned military fixed wing pilots to join us as Full Time GS-13 technicians. Unfortunately this is not a commissioning opportunity and no Fixed Wing Qual opportunities exist for these positions. Questions? Call (603)430-2424 and ask for Lt Col Jeff Cole or follow the links on the announcement to speak with our HRO folks. This announcement closes 29 Nov 16.
