So I had a little run in this past weekend and one woman should thank her lucky stars that I decided not to carry that night. She wound up in jail rather than the hospital/morgue.
I'm glad they caught the woman and you and your wife are fine. If you were carrying, what would you have done? Popped a cap thru her windshield? It doesn't sound to me to be a good situation where the CC and drawing a weapon would have helped, in fact, it could have made your night more painful.

Gonna start this thread from the other perspective should be getting dates for AMS/UPT pretty soon and my girlfriend of a year wants to come to UPT with me... long story short im on the fritz if i want her to or not, I realize the AF doesnt recognize any relationship besides marriages. Bitching is all relative. You should c'mon down to the big house. Spend one week around here (or any staff job for that matter) and you'd be amazed at what your tolerance for deployed queep could be. Getting yelled at for no disco belt ON YOUR WAY TO THE JET sounds awesome.

If I had a nickel for everytime I didn't get a pilot slot thru AFROTC but still ended up with wings on my chest, I'd have a nickel. You know what they say, if one door closes, find the next door and break it off the fucking hinges.
Seems like the end of the world now, but there are other ways. Quit making D's in easy courses, it will only make your road to the cockpit that much harder, trust me.
If the ruling stands, start working on plan B. The begining of plan B should be no more D's in easy courses!
