  1. Keg Parties, those fall under "non-affiliated" events right?? We are going to be doing a FTX for 3 days with paintball combat, an airdrop and integrated into that is surviving in the woods while fighting. The COIC wants it so that we can't take ANY food in with us but I think that will get voided as soon as a Cadre memeber hears about it. I think it would be fun; eating bugs, rabbit, each other when the skinny cadets die....
  2. DB, U-Dub Kicked our asses. They had been practicing all three sports (Basketball, volleyball, and football) for about a week. So needless to say the WSU/UI team got whipped. But all is not lost next year the competition as well as ARCON (just a rumor) is in Pullman.
  3. Eluzion, What do you drive and were you at McChord last Saturday for the Det. Vs. Det. Competition with 905? Now that was a good time. BTW negligent driving? wow! I got a 24MPH over coming back to Moscow after Spring Break. 1MPH away from reckless. I get to go do the rugdance in front of the Col. I'l let ya'll know how it goes. Gotta love that SHO! [ 08. 4. Wing King eh.. Good Luck. At 905 a group of cadets and ou NCOIC were up at Fairchild on a CATM/ firing range trip (can you say RPGs at 0700 hrs?) Next week they are going on a trip to see the dog show with a cadet getting WRAP certified and taken down by Fluffy The Wonder Pooch. Rafting would be a great Idea. Too bad you would have to come to Idaho for good water :D
  5. My suitemate is a football player at the University of Idaho and he spends more time doing football related stuff than I do in ROTC. there is also a golfer on my floor that we never see because she is always away on tournys. Varsity athletes miss alot of class and if you miss your ROTC class and LLab you can be "removed" from the program for excessive absences. It is ROTC or athletics because both will rule your life in their own. the AFROTC website says it is like 3 hours per week, yeah right. i spend at least 7 hours per week doing ROTC stuff, more often than not more because it is a cross town thing with WSU. If you want more information just email me.
  6. You people are SICK! And yet incredibly entertaining. :D
  7. The best advice I have is to try it. If you don't like it, get out. The group at Det. 905 is really community service oriented this semester. I am a 100 so I don't know how it was in the past but we manage to have a lot of fun too. My Candidate class was really easy. We met before LLab and then had an initiation night where there was PT and recitaion at the same time, this after Combat Dining In. Good Times
  8. Wow, I seem to be a real thread killer.
  9. I did not know that you could move like that in Blues. I wish I could pull that off. But instead I am talking tou you guys.
  10. I must be incompetent but I can't get it to work with my Mac. Could someone please email it to me? My email is on my profile. Thanks
  11. I second what illini has to say. Too often you go to ARCON, play a few drinking games and it is all out on the table. As well as a few couches that I will never again touch.
  12. I have no clue, but it doesn't matter. The defensive Col. Sanders deep fried them both and sold 'em as a combo meal with a biscuit and a beverage of your choice for $5.95. The real question here is Original or Extra Crispy??
  13. There is also s good book by Col. Bernie Fisher. He is another Air Force Medal Of Honor Winner in Vietnam when he landed his plane and picked up a shot down pilot during a fight in the A Shau Valley in March of 1966. Sorry I can't emember the title.

    POW?

When I first saw this I quite literally fell off of my chair. I can't believe they thought that this would work. HerkDriver: My ROTC buddies have decided to send in Team America: World Police to grab Cody.
  15. If you want a good textbook type read hunt down The Limits Of Airpower: The American Bombng Of North Vietnam By Mark Clodfelter. Kind of tough but worth it pain. I am still working on it because there are only so many hours in a day for a college student.
  16. I was wondering if I could be DQd by DODMERB for a dislocated shoulder that occired while playing football about 6 years ago? A buddy of mine was going to enlist in the AF but was not allowed to for the same reason.
