Has anyone seen a similar scenario: "...10 months after 2015 ratee signature and OPR Closeout, AFPC rejects document for 'unauthorized push line verbiage' then returns it Group, Squadron, and ratee for signatures." I'll PM actual text to anyone with recent exec experience or knowledge of current eval policies. My main reason for concern is the use of this 'unauthorized' OPR in the CY16 O-5 Board, 1ABZ at that. Thoughts?

Is anyone headed to the FY16 Lt Col board... 1APZ and/or from an embassy-type assignment? Curious to hear feedback from PRF's routed through another service (ie Navy-rating-Air Force) O-6. All the best this year...

Yeah, this was IPZ. My record was clean - PT tests in the high 90's too. First thing that comes to mind is a 6- and 12-month deployment bookended by mild or weak Senior Rater push lines. Beyond that, it's an admin fail or ..just.. anyone's guess. There was another comment about positioning non-selects for the APZ board. I'm laughing, because -in this case- I've been TDY en-route to PCS for the last three months. If I had a chance to be in anyone's top XX%, that ship has sailed. Offer still stands - selects and pass-overs get a round on me!

The "non-select" phone call came Monday. Unfortunately, a Wg/CC DP wasn't enough... But here's a toast to the selects. To those who didn't - To those who did! A round on me...

R-Dub, My two cents ... (1) Check myPers and find the PSDM announcing last year's picks. If you're an 11F, there should be about ten selects to contact and get the inside scoop. Sadly, very few in Ops have a clue of how the application works ... or what it can do for your career (i.e. IDE in-residence equivalent). (2) Talk to Mr. Peterson at AFPC -worst case, try calling anyone at the DPAOT extension. (3) My last chance to apply was denied for not meeting the min TOS. At that point, I didn't have anyone on my side who could push for a waiver ... and the TPS ship sailed. All the best to ya though!

Capt Rodman is actually paraphrasing a conclusion stated in the 2012 Report. If you go to SAPR.mil and download the text -all 700+ pages of it- you'll find some interesting disconnects between this problem and civilian leadership's perception of it.
