AMEX is no longer waiving the $450 membership fee. You can cancel any time and receive a refund for the pro-rated balance of your membership. Bummer. I've been dicking around since September with them trying to figure out why I haven't been credited and finally found out today after speaking to a manager that the membership fee reimbursement program is gone. Spread the word, save your bros money. (If anyone hears differently and gets reimbursed, please take down the name of who you talked to so i can call them)

60k as a 1LT bum in the C-5 was possible in years past. Add another 10-15k for per diem. Yes, that's a lot of TDY. Those days appear to be gone at my squadron, unfortunately. I'll now turn the thread back over to the tac airlifters

I asked for an update Tuesday and got a response today: "Laura (chick in Switzerland) just came back today from health issues. She said she will have an update for us in the middle of next week. Thanks." So she's either been sick for the 47 days since last contact, or we're getting dicked around... still. Continue holding short, awaiting IFR release.

Omega finally made contact today - the first time since September. Doaa left the company, but her replacement is looking in to our order. I'll post as soon as they get back to me. I reminded them of our holiday delivery expectation, but we'll have to see what they say with progress.
