I was talking to somebody today about a funny video clip I saw on a website like ebaum's world or something and he asked if we could get in trouble for looking at that kinda stuff while in the VOQ's....is that the case?

Would I get in trouble for going to a website like break.com or ebaum's world while here at Maxwell?

I understand that if on a work computer you're not supposed to do that, but what about the computer in you own room?

I know it's a bit off topic, but I wanted to show him some funny video clips and I didn't wanna get in trouble for something silly like that.

Don't worry about it...you're on your own computer outside of any specific govt intranet. I wouldn't bring your laptop to the flight room and hook it up and go wherever (b/c you'd be on an intranet), but in your room, it's fine. You can go to ebaums, porn, who gives a shit...just keep it off the intranet.

Don't worry...the Air Force isn't "funny" about mis-using computers at all. They NEVER send anyone to federal pound me in the ass prison for surfing porn on government computers. It's never happened. Probably never will.

Mine isn't government. It's just my own and happens to be hooked up to the service in the VOQ I'm in.

For what it's worth this thread wasn't entirely for porn because I go to a lot of those other sites I mentioned quite frequently (can't get enough of the video clips on ebaum's world) and I download a music file or two now and again. Just don't wanna get myself in hot water early on in my career is all.
