January 8, 20197 yr I know it's a long shot, but if anyone has or knows where I can obtain a complete MBU-5/P mask like the one below, please let me know. It's for a heritage display. Cheers! M2
January 9, 20197 yr This place used to have a ton of random military stuff. I haven’t been there in 20 years but it’s only gotten bigger (sts) and moved online. https://www.omahas.com/ Just a cursory search revealed they have the mask face piece: https://www.omahas.com/shop/mbu-5-p-oxygen-mask-face-piece/ I’m sure they have an intact mask lying around somewhere. Good luck.
January 9, 20197 yr Author Thanks, tried to contact them online, and got an error message. I've give 'em a call later today... Cheers! M2

January 17, 20197 yr Thanks, saw those and was hoping to find one a little cheaper given this is being done on a budget...Yeah, pricey for sure. eBay has some but are roughly the same price. There are a few MBU-5/Ps on eBay that are mostly complete for less than $100, but they’re missing comm cords and bayonet clips.Sent from my iPhone using Baseops Network mobile app
January 17, 20197 yr Author Yeah, saw those as well. They are mainly the mask and breathing hose only, but at least they are new. Unfortunately, they're also in the UAE for some reason; but for $75 + $20 shipping they may be my best option. Plus, as you stated, I'd have to still find a comms cords and bayonet clips...
January 18, 20197 yr The comm cords should be similar between the 20/P and the 5/P. I'm sure one of the fighter bros here can source one from a friendly AFE shop. I know the one at Nellis was very helpful when I was working on other projects.
