September 9, 201411 yr I have a bunch of issued uniform items that I either never used, were the wrong size, etc. Along with about 2 pairs of brand new boots I bought years ago that just don't fit right. I could try to sell them but I dont have the boxes still. Not looking to make a profit, just wanting to get them out of my possession. Obviously dumping them off at my local goodwill is not an option. Are there places it is OK to donate these to, on base? Edited September 9, 201411 yr by rancormac

September 9, 201411 yr Airmans attic is where I take EVERYTHING, not just uniforms. I like to donate to my own airman than to give to Goodwill/Salvation Army (not knocking those at all) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

September 10, 201411 yr Civil Air Patrol or any ROTC / JROTC unit would also love to have them. Pro tip: CAP is a 501© (correct term?), so you can deduct your donations thereto....
September 10, 201411 yr When I lived in Germany I'd just take them to the German thrift store. For some reason the locals loved our uniforms... Posted from the NEW Baseops.net App!
