Anyone else drop dead on a checkride due to sequestration?

No, but I've been within 24 hours of a requal program twice due to currency.

The wing I just PCS'd from was martyring a large percentage of the squadrons this way by creating a "Fly list" of approved crewmembers, in an attempt to prove the unsustainability of sequestration. Brilliant.

That's what we're doing. Several attached flyers are now unqualified, but we've managed to stay ahead on checkrides within the squadron. The real fun will be spinning up 15 MQTs before the next deployment.
