Catbox
This guy is a hero...no doubt so not taking anything away from him. I've just never seen the MOH worn without the neck ribbon, anyone have any idea why his is displayed this way?
theat6bisasham
Hey, i was currious also...so i looked up the regulation. In the navy/marines it says to tuck the "ribbon" under the collar of the dress uniform. It looks strange, but if you look close that is what he is doing. I think we just dont see alot of navy brothers with the MOH to have seen it before. 1. Medal of Honor. On the officer's evening dress and all other dress "A" uniforms, the Medal of Honor will be worn around the neck with the ribbon under the coat or jacket collar. The medallion will emerge at the opening between the collar hook and the top button of the coat or jacket, and hang 1 inch below the bottom edge of the collar. On the SNCO evening dress uniform, the Medal of Honor will be worn around the neck with the ribbon under the jacket collar. The medallion will hang 1 inch below the men's bow tie. Catbox
Cool, thanks for the info. Since I've never had a uniform that chicks dig, I didn't know the collar folded over like that.
