January 5, 201114 yr If you do decide to stop in Socal, please try and make a stop over at KVNY. This region's been lacking fast-movers for awhile (minus the 4 Super-bugs that did the Rose Bowl flyover) and is in dire need of some real jet noise.

Even without an airshow it is worth going there...Van Nuys is the adult entertainment production capital of the world...unless you're not into that kind of thing.
January 5, 201114 yr Van nuys would be good for location but having to land north only might be a pain to coordinate in that airspace. I know you are looking for civilian fields but Los Alamitos is about the best location wise to take a T-38 if you looking for newport orange county area. Also had some guys plan to LAX but end up not going, from what I understand they would waive the cart fee, but again that second hand info. I probably wouldn't test it just for fear of ground delay burning all my fuel. I look forward to what you find out about PSP. Also Victorville has a huge runway and Millionaire but no UHF Tower freq... A model.

Maybe you didn't hear me...they make more porn in Van Nuys than anywhere in the world! They're always looking for stand-ins to get the job done with a POV cam which means you can stay anonymous unless you have some sort of ink done on your junk. Who cares about what direction you have to land!

Who cares about what direction you have to land! No kidding. Just look towards Clay Lacy's fbo. All those jets are there for a reason. Across the street is an impressive array of studios!
