June 25, 200619 yr Looks like a new naval aviation movie is in the pipeline called "Speed and Angels" ...its a full length documentary and follows two pilots from flight school all the way to their first combat deployment... https://www.umlautfilms.com/site/jess_playe...eed_angels.html Jay's quote is classic :D "whoever thought up the idea of us landing on boats at night is an ASSHOLE...I HATE him" [ 25. September 10, 200817 yr Thread revival. I checked out this site and put myself on the mailing list for more info. I just got this - I'm Peyton, the director of Speed & Angels. For all of you who have seen and supported the film, we are incredibly grateful for your continued enthusiasm and support. Our project is about to hit a major milestone--getting featured in a store near you. If you believe in this film and its message, your support is now more critical than ever. Although the DVD will be available in retail outlets in three weeks, there are many stores that don't know the film and remain uncertain of its audience. These retailers want to see what real people think and why people might buy Speed & Angels, and the first place they look is Amazon. If you have anything positive to share about the film or why its worthy buying/renting, please tell the world via Amazon at: https://www.amazon.com Fans like you make all the difference in independent, quality films continuing to be made. And maybe together we can make a little indie film history along the way. As always, we are deeply grateful for your support. Warm Regards Peyton Wilson The offical release date for the DVD is September 16th, 2008. Stay tuned for more updates and festival information for your chance to see Speed and Angels on the big screen. https://www.speedandangels.com

March 11, 200916 yr Just watched it yesterday on hulu. Not bad for a Navy movie. True, but it doesn't hold a candle to the AF movie classics out there...

March 13, 200916 yr Whilst on the subject of aviation movies, I remember watching a movie about a kiowa pilot. Anyone know of anything like that?
March 13, 200916 yr You don't mean Firebirds, do you? Yep, thanks. For some reason I had kiowas in my mind.
March 13, 200916 yr Yep, thanks. For some reason I had kiowas in my mind. that was Sean Young flying the kiowa ... back when she was still kind of hot
March 13, 200916 yr The scene where she is doing her dogfight with the saint, you could take the audio and dub it into a porno. Woof. What about the scene showing her first launch off of a carrier around 36-37 minutes into it. The girl Meagan sounds like she has an orgasm.
March 13, 200916 yr Sean Young was a babe in Blade Runner with her 80's hair... of the future. Cheers! -Stuck
March 13, 200916 yr Pretty enjoyable... a little less than the IMAX "Fighter Pilot: Operation Red Flag" imho.
March 14, 200916 yr Sean Young was a babe in Blade Runner with her 80's hair... of the future. Cheers! -Stuck Dude, that's funny. Well done.
