When did they start 24hr operations? It must have been very recent. Probably because there isn't enough capacity and it was impossible to get a seat during peak hours. It's great when you're only awake for 2 meals a day (and are frequently flying during at least one of them) and you can't sit down for either of them. Too late, the racism card has already been thrown out there: Obama President's Day Controversy Apparently, the commissary at Peterson had a "President's Day" sign up, and lo and behold, the President that was featured was our current sitting president, not Washington, Lincoln or any of those other mediocre guys. Some customers complained that the sign should reflect the presidents that the holiday was created for, not the currently worshipped head of state. President's Day is a term used by some state governments and the more common term but according to the federal government it is officially known as George Washington's Birthday. The NAACP can b1tch and moan all they want... this holiday isn't about the current president or any other president besides our first. A draft of the Uniform Holidays Bill of 1968 would have renamed the holiday to Presidents' Day to honor both Washington and Lincoln, but this proposal failed in committee and the bill as voted on and signed into law on June 28, 1968 kept the name Washington's Birthday. I read it and I agree, especially since one of Code Pinks founders was a campaign bundler for Obama. Unfortunately their (Code Pink's) website doesn't mention anything about Afghanistan only Iraq.
