  3. Wow to think I liked the tanker/heavy idea because of the comradery. The term pnf is actually starting to appeal to me more and more. WxMan
  4. I was simply correcting her, it was no way meant to be a smart ass comment. I would think that an E-6 would know the officer rank structure. WxMan
  5. So this is not really a no salute story, but I was geting my shots done at the clinic on base and this TSgt ask me if I was a cadet attending field training and had to get my immunizations. Did she even notice the gold bars I was wearing? I kindly replied to her "No, actually I am an officer in the Air Force?" Are people this dumb/rude to brand new lieutenants? I find it hard to mess up 2nd Lt ranks with cadet ranks. WeatherMan
  6. LOL, quite the contrary. Unless your married or have kids (and why the heck would you), as a 2LT your pay is freaking sweet!! WxMan
  7. All that comes to mind is an Alabama song I know: "If your gunna play in the Air Force, you gotta have an airman in the band" Wxman
  8. My comment was not meant to be disrespectful to you, but I was only trying to say that if an Airman blows you off, pull them aside and correct them. I didn't mean go ape sh!t on them. Walking by without saying anything tells them that you don't care. I may be a new Lt, but I am not a jerk to the people I am supposed to be leading. WxMan
  9. Totally agree!!! If an Airmen doesn''t salute you pull him aside and tell them, but as far as getting tossed around in UPT, grow some Bawls! WxMan
  10. Here are some things on my iPOD: Led Zeppelin CCR Audioslave Pink Floyd Bunch of Country Chili Peppers John Mayer
  11. I don't know if this question has been asked, but after looking at Riddler's pics, I realized how small the DA-20 actually is. I head to Pueblo at the end of July and my question is: any tall guys have problems fitting in the airplane? I'm 6' 4" and 205 pounds and was wondering if I will be able to fit in the cockpit! Anyone have info on this? WxMan
  12. Any no particular order: Sam Adams Cherry Wheat (god I love this beer) New Castle Brown Ale Miller Lite Youngs Double Chocolate Stout Anything Free WxMan
  13. I have lived in Tallahassee for the past 3 years, so I already know the meaning to the word swamp ass!!! Thanks to all who gave their suggestions. Looks like I will be drinking lots of beer while I am there!!!
  14. Well I found out that I will be on Casual at Maxwell AFB for 8 months before I head off to pilot training. Can anyone tell me what there is to do around Montgomery? I lived there while my dad was in the Navy, but for only 10 months and I was in the 1st grade at the time. Is it really as bad as everyone says it is? So far the top things to do on my list are: visit old elementary school and visit old house. Thanks in advance!!
