2026 ACTIVE DUTY UFT BOARD
Tbh, I think they’re waiting until the group on Jan 15 for MFS (last group based on dates I’ve heard from you all) to get that knocked out and then they’ll release all the RIPs at once. That’s the only options that makes sense to me unless they were talking about the MFS rip (which was a training rip) and the assignment notification being NLT Feb 28th. Either way, very frustrating, hoping after we all come back certified from WP, we’ll hear something.

I feel your pain all too well. Just trying to stay busy and remain positive. I’m apart of the Jan 15 crew going for MFS and i was hoping we’ll get our assignment notifications prior to Wright-Pat but seems pretty unlikely the closer we get to the 60 day mark. I’m guessing we’ll all get more information a week or two after the flight screening, but I’m confused on what direction they’re going at the moment.

2026 ACTIVE DUTY UFT BOARD
I’m very grateful to have this opportunity. I’ve waited years for it, but time seems to be moving both fast and slow at the same time—if that makes sense to anyone. I’m anxiously waiting for my assignment RIP, MFS, and a farewell to my current position. November is flying by, but it feels like the notification of what’s coming is taking forever (even though it’s not; I think it’s just the excitement of wanting to start). We learned early on which paths we’re going down, so we may wait longer for the next steps, but I just want to know how I can actively use my time based on my projected departure date. It’s not the waiting—it’s the not knowing how to properly plan. Just venting to you all, because I’m sure some of you may feel the same way

2026 ACTIVE DUTY UFT BOARD
What’s going on everyone, just posting in here to stay engaged and just want everyone to be positive through the wait. Even though it’s very unlikely, we were going to find the results in a month. It’s uncertain how long the wait will be now with the current shutdown, just hoping that gets figured out sooner rather than later. I know all of us been waiting YEARS for us to get the opportunity to fly, but what’s a few more weeks?! Hope all is well but remind yourself, this is all worth the wait! 💪

2026 ACTIVE DUTY UFT BOARD
You think so? I would think the board racks and stacks the packages (our fate already sealed) and AFPC determines the amount of allocations, A1 manpower legalities and AETC signing off on the list. All which takes time, but I don’t think would take the exact time of the shutdown (in total) to push back the results by that time. If they’re shooting for pre-thanksgiving, I think they would hit the ground running when the shutdown ends to meet this deadline to prevent doing as much work the month of December (holiday season). This is just me be positive and optimistic through my years in the Air Force and my experience of the last shutdown in 2018, I could be completely wrong but hope for our sake, we know sooner than later 😅

Are they reaching out for OPBs? I’ve been TDY for AFA so I wasn’t tracking them reaching out. I know my strat at the wing and I know my package is complete based on the gentleman at AFPC giving me notification. I’m just not tracking the OPBs request but I heard that was a thing in previous boards.

2026 ACTIVE DUTY UFT BOARD
Hey everyone, been reading yall post for motivation while applying for the FY26 boards and hoping we all see some success. Wanted to know, did anyone receive their receipt of submission from the UFT board team? It’s been 7 days so I’m not sure if it’s just me or it’s a common thing. Thanks in advance
