Another week of silence down. Hopefully start hearing something next week. Just wish we had some indication of where we were going. My leadership kinda has me in this limbo state where I don’t really have a shop job and I just finished my last upgrade and I’m not being put in any more upgrades.

Well honestly you can’t plan anything right now until you get more information. I know how you feel though. Honestly, all you can do is keep showing up to work and cherishing the time you do have left. I’m a man of faith and I put things in Gods hands. Things will happen in due time. For now just enjoy life

Currently, my wife and I have a plan where she is actually enrolling in a masters program that will potentially take her to New Jersey with the kids and she can complete that program while I’m at UPT and I’ll just visit my wife and kids when I can. Currently, I’m stationed out in Vegas and my wife and kids and I absolutely hate being stationed out here so my wife is even thinking about leaving before I do so that way she can get things settled where she may be but it all depends on when I get an assignment and etc.

I’m not in my window until May I think. I’m on leave for the next week and then my last 2 weeks on mids after that. Then my team goes on recon for 7 weeks and I don’t go back to flying the line until February so I’m hoping to be out processing by then. I am going to finish my MCC upgrade though. I’m just glad I don’t have to go through IPUG because I know I would’ve started in December if I didn’t get picked up lol.

From my memory the IPT locations are: Texas, Pensacola, Arizona, UND, & Atlanta It’s suppose to take around 5 months I believe based on one of my buddies who just went through. As far as the assignments and etc, within a month based on what people who’ve gotten selected before me experienced.

I didn’t want ENJJPT. I only want heavies. So I didn’t volunteer for ENJJPT. I've been on heavies my entire career. Other than now flying RPA's but Fighters aren't for me and I know I can go to ENJJPT and potentially drop a heavy, but ENJJPT is geared towards fighters. I'm in my early 30's and just want to fly heavies to finish out my career. When I first joined, I worked on MC-130Js then cross trained and became a flight engineer on KC-10's.
