  1. Ill say for my sq we were/are the last lr squadron until we stand down and remission in 6 months. As for the bar, we had 6-7 push a package and 4 made it through. Myself and two other Lts with a deployment each and pilot/pcsm 99/99, 99/99, 99/98 then a seasoned captain: great scores, prior exec, shop chief, evaluator. At my sq it's tough to be shit hot whole Airman concept when every officer in the sq is an RPA Pilot and you arent making instructor as an Lt so you had to fire wall the numbers on the 215.
  2. Out at Creech so 90% of officers are rated and probably 99% of applicants are RPA pilots. I reached out to guys who applied in other sq with no luck. Only guess I have is that if you didn't get the push you were told. The bar in my sq was so high the hope is everyone made it all the way and hope you stratted well against everyone else.
  3. My wg didn't even tell us our strats or whose packages they submitted. Only way I think i got submitted is my buddy in my sq got push back on his etp after the deadline by afpc which then trickled down the chain. A couple years ago we had the 1 at the wg and in my sq picked up for upt and my same buddy be #11 at the wg yet get an alternate slot. There's a chance the execs do most of the stratting based on cc guidance which may not align with the board's rack and stack. There were a handful of people in between in my wg that didn't even make the alternate list. I imagine strats could be used as a tie breaker but tough to assign a value when some wgs push 1 and others 15+.
  4. Hopefully we continue to see high numbers of crossflow selects. By the time anyone from this board attends UPT I think itll be 100% IPT prior. To my understanding, IPT is being used to reduce the training load on limited aircraft and instructors at UPT thereby producing more pilots each year since there is no t-1 track after the shortened 6 syllabus. Hopefully this translates into a higher take rate to backfill billets. The board being moved up a month and a half could also be to coincide with the larger number of pilots expected to be produced, allowing for class dates earlier in 26, but that's me being optimistic.
  5. Just from what I've seen and heard it seems to vary at each level if they'll push every competitive and qualified candidate or someone says while x candidates have a solid chance of being selected.... we're still gonna cut down to number y and if you arent one of the favorites... cyuh! I got shutdown at my sq last year then watched Lts from other sqs snag ENJJPT slots. Made for a slightly salty rest of my deployment. Fortunately, I wasnt in a dry country. In any case, I'm pressing as if im not selected. Board got pushed up this year, who is to say it won't happen again?
  6. Yeah that's the frustrating part what your sq gp and wg think is competitive probably =/= the board's criteria. In our case RPA guys are a dime a dozen so picking arbitrary criteria is how it seems they delineate. In my case 2-4 strat in the sq was based on hours and I had the short stick. I did some poking and still dont know if we'll find out which packages got submitted and definitely dont expect to see the wg strats. Curious how they calculate potential and leadership. Assume that's where you see the outlier low scores get picked up -\_(-_-)_/-
  7. Honestly it's anybody guess what the board is looking for. I imagine there has to be some sort of expectations based on rank. Not sure a senior captain with all the boxes for major is comparable to an lt when getting selected but the board has taken both. I'm 99p/99pcsm no ppl but did IFT as an RPA guy. 100 pt test 4.0 MBA from a small private school (applied to OTS while in grad school). Have a 6 month "combat" deployment and letter of rec is my 04 deployment commander. I was 4/4 in my squadron so dont know if I even made it past the group. Coming out of existing rated I'm just hoping I make it to the board as my wing typically has double digit applicants and they have gates up to limit those from trying to crosstrain. The rumorint was if you're scores arent in the 90s dont bother.
  8. New 36-2139 dropped 1 July 2025, UFT page on Air Force portal updated with new ADSC statement template
  9. Heads up they have a new 215 version dated May of 2025
  10. I knocked out my IFC last year. I reached out in January, did all my tests and appointments in Feb/Mar, then met with the flight doc on 2 April. My IFC didn't get stamped until the end of July, and it wasn't sent to me until the first week of August. That was without any waivers and I was still nervous with the timing. Hopefully a pending medical isn't used to trim down the number of applicants that are pushed.
  11. I retook both the TBAS and AFOQT last year. The first time I took it (2019) it was on paper still. Due to the new superscoring method I was really only focused on the rated portions and was in and out in 3 hours. Only big item I have is looking to knock out my PPL before the sept cutoff for package updates and at least snagging some PIC time dated this year on my package when it gets pushed for stratting. Last year my sq wanted drafts of packages in July to get them in order and ranked before getting pushed up to the wing king. This may not be the timeline for everyone but I'm existing rated (RPA) and typically have 15-20 applicants that make it to the wing.
  12. Hello everyone! Been waiting on this year's to drop. The board meeting earlier this year has me stoked. Put together a package for FY25 but my package didn't get pushed to the board. Fortunately, I won't need an ETP this year and hoping for 100 pilot selects once again!
  13. Results are up 100 pilot year https://www.my.af.mil/gcss-af/USAF/ep/browse.do?programId=t0ECF2BB852AD5A280152C257EBA7018E&channelPageId=s330D98A14DFE211B014E2178A7BD03FF
  14. Retook both my AFOQT and TBAS to try and apply this year but my package didn't make it out of the Sq. I had been waiting for a thread to be posted for this year as I used previous years as guidance, goodluck to all the applicants!
