Sorry forgot to post the response from AFPC: I am fine with you guys e-mailing starting Mid-March… I was just told by scheduler that that is the timeframe she hopes to be done. I do not like not keeping everyone informed. Was thinking about a mass e-mail but I think that was going to generate even more traffic, so I am planning on just answering questions as they come…

From AFPC this morning: Unfortunately, that rumor has some truth to it. The single UPT scheduler that works UFT Board also works all the UPT training for the USAF (number varies but normally 1200 to 1500 per year). Recently she has been bombarded by AETC taskers regarding short notices to UPT at Laughlin; I am sure you have heard that rumor as well. Bottomline is that although there is a training plan for everyone in out UPT select list, the scheduler has not been able to load everyone yet. Loading is done based primarily on expected RNLTD dates, therefore those with earlier planned dates will see the training loaded more quickly than those planned towards the end of the year. You can pass on that ENJJPT and UHT are unlikely to move before Q3 (training pipeline delays), therefore they may see their training loaded later in March. Everyone else, just hang in there, it will get done. No one expected what is going on with Laughlin short notices…

From AFPC: the 30-60 days was only for people needing MFS. They are rewriting this for the next board to make sure it’s clear. They just told me again expect it NLT then Feb 28th and if you are a helicopter select we are projected to move at the last qtr of this year…:/ . But my buddy said they told him that last year and he moved 45 days after notification on Vmpf.

Nah the VML has nothing to do with it . The civilian last year explained it to me as just a crazy long process. Can email afpc direct and ask but should be this week
