  1. Yeah it’s been wild. Def a numbers game and projections coming up short. I’m curious if that translates into our aircraft options being solid post T-6. Sounds like they’re just beefing up numbers across the board
  2. Yeah I think so. Just got my RIP as well so trying to figure all the things out
  3. I just got the email for a 30 Jun IPT date out of Del Rio that was for Prescott. AFPC guy told me that the location changes all the time though due to AETC doing load management/balancing so to take that with a grain of salt. Sounds like its going to be a cluster until were in the student flights getting ready to go
  4. Yeah sorry basically any training code that doesn’t have IPT labeled will be your UPT dates
  5. So if your class starts with "SV" that is your projected UPT date and the letters on the back end (for example: "LJ") are the first two letters of the base PAS Code which in this case would be Laughlin. Vance would be "VH" and Columbus "CO". Your IPT class will only have the main UPT base attached. Based on some folks in IPT currently, the two locations for Laughlin are Denton, TX and San Marcos, TX. Only way to find that out is when you are in processing/know someone there who can tell you what location is slotted for that date. This is where folks earlier in the thread mentioned taking "strategic" leave prior to IPT if you want a specific location that your primary UPT base sends folks to.
  6. Honestly about what I expected. Summer PCS, Fall IPT into Winter/early next year UPT
  7. Mine just populated as well. PV4AB LJ with a start date of 21 Dec. UTM is out on leave this week lol
  8. Negative here. I think we all shot emails on Monday, so I'm sure that org box is overflowing lol
  9. The great Laughlin scandal of 2026! Im very curious about what transpired. Seems to be a bit more then just a misallocation of numbers…
  10. I believe there was an alternate who got quick turn dates earlier in this thread. Might be worth reaching out and saying you’re down to send it!
  11. Guys let’s put out good vibes, tomorrow is the day!
  12. It seems like the issues are with filling the earlier class dates at Laughlin, hence the “pick up and move now” offers people are getting. Similar to what was mentioned in this thread where people are getting offered to go with a March RNLTD. Curious if those of us who put Laughlin first and are still waiting for dates are also going to have an earlier class date. Will let y’all know
  13. That’s insane, congrats dude. Hoping that means they’re loading the rest of Laughlin dates this week
  14. So we don't find our IPT location when we get our RIPs just UPT? How was your buddy able to pull that for you?
  15. Man hopefully they make the IPT locations less of a crapshoot then that, I was under the impression we would find out our IPT location at the same time as UPT location.
  16. Anyone else just sitting here refreshing CDB on vMPF every 5 min lol? I'd imagine it probably flows --> anyone with humanitarian consideration --> anyone coming up close to Age restriction --> then alphabetically and/or merit based
  17. Happy 60 day mark y'all. Hopeful for some news today!
  18. 15 Jan MFS homies: I'm planning on grabbing a rental car and get in around 1800 on 14 Jan if anyone wants to catch a ride and save on uber costs. Return flight isn't until late afternoon 16 Jan so also planning to hit up museum, assuming all goes well with the exams.
  19. Also going to MFS mid Jan. Hope to see y'all there!
  20. Does declining the UCT slot impact your eligibility? Would suck if they consider it a denial that impacted future eligibility.
  21. If anyone is curious I found this link that spells out all of what is done at MFS. Looks like it'll be a full day unless you have additional testing that needs to be done which can stretch it out to two. Looks like 5% of MFS has issues with only rare cases being a DQ with no waiver option https://www.afrl.af.mil/About-Us/Fact-Sheets/Fact-Sheet-Display/Article/2336839/usafsam-fci-medical-flight-screening
  22. I think this is one of the drawbacks with IPT. Currently stationed in San Antonio with a wife and kid and reached out to them asking if I could get San Marcos for IPT. Talked with someone who got picked up last year and they told me that the board was able to accommodate an IPT request for family reasons. Plan on moving them out to the UPT base post IPT and just eating the cost to move the rest of our stuff. Either way it sucks because you have to PCS to a UPT base prior to IPT and then lose BAH at your current location. To me it’s worth it though to keep them in place. I always thought it was a PCS to your FTU unless they changed that?
  23. Do you mind posting/sending me one of the reporting instruction docs? Whenever I go on the ETCA website it crashes for me lol
  24. Damn man those are great scores… sorry to hear. I read on another year’s thread that someone from the board will reach out to you if you’re next in line should a spot come open. I don’t think they release the rankings but I’m sure they have alternates listed 1 - n. In terms of spots opening up, main example I heard of was a few selectees getting accepted into reserve flying units turning down their active duty spot. MFS-N could be another way but with most people having the stamped FC1 already a MFS-N failure seems pretty unlikely.
