  1. Lot's of variables as to why some countries have lower COVID case/death rates than others.  Of course this stuff isn't widely disseminated unless you're searching for it:

    https://www.globenewswire.com/en/news-release/2020/05/04/2026625/0/en/High-COVID-19-Death-Rates-Linked-to-Low-MMR-Vaccine-Rates-According-to-World-Organization.html

    https://www.desmoinesregister.com/story/opinion/columnists/iowa-view/2021/03/14/mmr-vaccination-seems-associated-less-severe-covid-19/4561515001/

So who here has had a recent MMR2 vaccination series within the last 5-9 years and gotten COVID and if you did, were your symptoms mild?  Most adults born before the early to mid 70's did not receive the MMR series, but the research found that titer levels for people who've gotten the series as recently as 9 years had levels high enough for protection against COVID.  This isn't a shot series that most adults in the country get or if they did when they were a kid, they commonly don't get a booster.  It's usually just us in the military or people that travel a lot that get another series.

More people are vaccinated than not.  And a huge majority of the vaccinated people already blame the unvaccinated people for the continuing pandemic.

Anti-vaxxers were largely Trump supporters already.

If anything, I can see this boosting Biden's popularity, especially if it gets the spikes in Covid under control.

While I don't discredit the importance of being vaccinated, there are countries with much higher vaccination rates than the U.S. (70+%) who are going through a COVID spike just as we are (Spain, Italy, UK, France, Israel, etc.).  While 100% would be nice, we're not the only country in the world not able to get everyone vaccinated for whatever reason.  These are countries without Biden and Trump.  Countries who weren't in an election year last year.  So at what percentage does the vaccinated crowd stop blaming the unvaccinated? 70... 80... 90?  We're not going to get every last person vaccinated. Our goal was 70% by July and we still haven't made it there yet.  China claims to have vaccinated 80+% of their major cities (Beijing, Wuhan, etc. and they're still starting to see upticks of Corona cases, although we may need to take their claims with a grain of salt.

Coordinated agenda to hate Christians, White people, or European culture? Please! How about religion has no place in politics or how our government runs our country?  I've got no issues with whatever religion one practices.  Just don't try to make policy with it.  There's a lot of people out there that think believing in God or whatever higher power you may believe in is about as crazy as believing in the Easter Bunny or the Tooth Fairy, but yet there are people trying to make policy with religious beliefs.

Some bases are back to masks for everyone without regard to vaccination status, so that incentive is gone, at least temporarily.

Not wearing a mask should of never been treated as an "incentive" and requiring one shouldn't be a punishment.

  5. Why is the government and the media pushing for this so hard?  THAT to me is creepy as  hell.

Well I had to register a new account here because for some reason I haven't been able to get into my original one, which I've had for almost two decades.  No luck from the "Contact Us" option either, but enough about that.

First off, I haven't gotten "the shot" yet.  I dpn't categorize myself as an "anti-vaxxer" though and I have a 2-1/2  page shot record to prove it, but with that being said, I am definitely not keen on putting something in my body to alter my immune system that has only been tested for "emergency use".  Not to mention that COVID vaccines were a goldmine for Big Pharma.

This is very similar to the Anthrax vaccine and a lot of military members got kicked out for refusing to get it.  How soon we forget about THAT debacle about two decades ago.  There were a lot of people who dodged that shot for years (me included) and now you don't even hear about it anymore after the FDA mysteriously approved it after the GAO concluded their investigation. Today, "kids" walk into the clinic with their sleeves held high, no questions asked, for a vaccine I still question the need for. Why do we still get? Smoke and mirrors and the fact the DoD spent over $1B on the AVIP. The difference here is that the general public was not told they had to get the Anthrax vaccine.

Why is the government pushing vaccination so hard? Just like anything else in this world, it's all about the money...

I chose not to get the COVID vaccine (yet) because of the research showing good evidence that the MMR2 vaccine provides some defense against COVID. I've had my two-shot series within the last 4 years. I think I'll take my chances.
