Because some staff idiot somewhere decided they needed to leave their mark on the AF instead of continuing with heritage. They most likely turned it into an OPR/EPR bullet that got them promoted... Retirement can’t come soon enough...

And yes, the internationals did bust airspace, which could have been avoided if they were given an airspace brief like every other flying exercise I've been in. I'm not sure if the AFREP was contacted for assistance. The SeaTac ATC telecon on D+3 was interesting though.

They did. However, the long range planners failed to secure (didn't do one) a LoA with SeaTac, and that reflected 6-9 months later whenever the masses arrived and started doing something different out of KTCM. There was one overly obnoxious controller who was trying to violate everyone he could, especially the internationals.

I know an ABMer who hated his community so much that he did it. That's pretty damn drastic...

That's BS. AFPC tried to pull that crap with me when I did my H to J transition, and I threw Note 1B back in their face. They capitulated very quickly (less than a day), and I haven't heard anything about it since. Those morons can't pull their own heads out of their asses...

That's why I don't trust personnelists; I've only met one my entire career who knew what he was doing and how to interpret AFIs. Xaarman, if you get passed over twice, and not offered continuation, ADSCs will not mean a thing.

False. I called AFPC and informed them of rule 16, note 1b, and within 5 minutes it was confirmed that I didn't have to sign the ADSC nor was I 7-day opting. J model here I come. Xaarman, you are requaling in a MWS, which is advanced flying training. Call the Total Force Service Center and inform them of note 1b. You'll still get the PCS ADSC, but that's it.

So then what is the purpose of keeping the 913th open in this fiscally challenged environment?

I used to have Trugreen service, and they did ok at best. I cancelled the service, and the following year, they came out and did a treatment. I called and told them thanks for the free treatment, I was not paying for their mistake. It took a while, but they finally sucked up the loss after I threatened them with phone calls to the state's attorney general's office and the consumer protection division.
