  1. Since vsp has been delayed my tertiary plan to get out moved forward. Win a billion dollars from Warren buffet and establish a conflict of interest. Unfortunately I underestimated Dayton's skills and was out after the first game. It's up to you now AFPC. Though I think my odds were better to win the billion.
  2. "My account" at top. Should show your incidents which will include a cms # for TFSCs request for you to upload SOU (in my case). If you click on an incident you can upload a new doc. If you've already changed the app in vMPF though I'd call TFSC so they can "fix the glitch" and avoid T'ing off the wing king and changing his mind.
  3. I think Moose is saying he selected the change application option in vMPF IOT add the IRR which reroutes the app back through the sq/wg CC, not that he added another app.
  4. Did you upload it via vMPF by "changing your application?" If so you should have uploaded via mypers. It won't reroute to sq/wg CC. I made the same mistake with the SOU. Called TFSC and they skipped it through the wickets with a note that there was no actual change to the app, just a doc upload. Cool thing was, TFSC changed the wg/cc coordination from recommended disapproval to approval. ???
  5. Fantastic stall technique. Next AF.mil story: "Force management programs are on hold for the next few weeks while we allow all airmen time to accept and sign the new IRR agreement in PSDM 14-08."
  6. So no new 13-130 which is supposed to cover RIF and VSP for RIF eligible officers. Can we safely assume that 14-08 supercedes 13-130 now for RIF eligible officers applying for VSP?
  7. Slow down. Theology is the degree, not the civilian sector. Thus, why it doesn't do much for your typical transitioning military jobs. And what/who is FSM?
  8. Wish there was a definitive answer as to whether or not AAD will be masked for 2005 yr group Major’s board in Dec. This may sound lazy, but I started mine back in 2008 and have one class to go, but it’s a real SOB class that I’d rather not take. Degree won’t do anything for civilian employment. I’m a prime example of checking the box on this one and even though I’m so close, I just don’t care enough anymore.
  9. I'm going to throw some speculation theory out here since we are in the middle of the "strategic delay." Not that A1/AFPC will employ sound logic when they finally make their decision, but would it make sense, if they are going to waive some ADSCs, to waive those with the lowest ADSCs in a specific AFSC vice a percentage spread across yr groups in that AFSC? For example, the matrices show '05-'08 yr group 11Ms as having specific overages. Assuming the '05s and 06's have less time remaining on their ADSC than the '07 and 08's, wouldn't make sense to approve, say 80% of the '05 applicants, 60% of the 06's, 20% of the 07's, etc, rather than those overage numbers per year group? In addition that might alleviate the congressionally mandated Major slot overages we are seeing that cause promotion boards to be pushed back. Obviously you have to consider that you don't want to empty a whole year group at once, but if you are just considering 11Ms (other '05 AFSCs intact), it would seem to make sense that you could approve only those with 3 years left on their ADSC if any, instead of split among the year groups resulting in 4, 5 and 6 years being waived. (He said hoping AFPC is trolling for good advice they can turn into policy for their program).
  10. Probably getting ahead of myself, but does anyone have details on your final move if one were to get VSP approved? I know most of the other "teets" turn off (medical benefits, etc), but would they still be required to pay for your move to home of record or Guard/Reserve location if you receive the voluntary pay out?
  11. Supposedly next week according to the af.mil article released today. If you'll buy that I've got oceanfront property here in clovis for sale.
  12. Just got off the phone with TFSC about my SOU letter being added. Said she received notification this morning that approx 600 packages were approved. Thought they were mostly TERA/QFRB packages. Though I'm pretty sure QFRBs aren't due until the end of this week so who knows. Unsure whether officer or enlisted.
  13. Anyone have a good letter of rec template for a C17 guard unit application or something similar. Specifically looking for what to put in it before I send to contacts. I'm gonna miss the PC train!
  14. At least those CCs are getting and giving information. Literally everything I know about this s#*! show has come from this forum. I routinely call a contact at MPF to validate it. My CC has absolutely no clue what is going on and doesn't seem to care if I offer to give him updates.
  15. Is "Hold Batch Processing" an actual status or are you talking about "Referred to AFPC BPO"? Mine finally got moved out of sq/cc and is at AFPC BPO so hopefully it is in the batch hold you are talking about.
  16. Yep. Coming up on 3 weeks tomorrow. I wonder if he knows it will get denied anyway due to ADSC? Probably still thinks I'm eligible and is holding on to it to until the quota is met.
  17. So it sounds like a few folks have received denied applications? Anyone else? I wouldn't know cause my CC is still sitting on it. Just don't want to ruffle the peacocks feathers about it if it's going to be denied anyway. I've already done enough damage I fear. OPR closes out in 3 weeks. Should be a good one!
  18. Can you list the source or has AFPC finally realized this forum is the best source and subsequently hired you to release information for them?
  19. Still "referred to active duty Squadron....." If the enlisted applications are any indication mine will sit with Sq/CC until the quota is met or 1 May, whichever comes first. Maybe AFPC should have provided more guidance than "commanders will not delay applications." Might as well have given them the answer on how to play the system. For what it's worth if anyone is in a similar fix, MPS said CMS cases should get highlighted to the Wg/CC if they are inactive for more than 5 days. That's only if they involve pay though. Not sure how to get these labeled the same way.
  20. Feel like I'm going to be left out of this batch. CC'S still sitting on it just like the E's over the last month. Not to mention expecting a do not concur note. Maybe this time I won't be fed up with AFPC but something closer to home.
  21. Update from TFSC today. Enlisted VSP started getting approved at the three week mark. Was told package must be complete through both CCs and BPO before AFPC will look at it. I believe there is a suspense date (rumored to be 45 days) after which it will still be pushed regardless, but that maybe too late if the quota is met. Mines been sitting for 5 days now.
  22. See 4-5 pages ago. 5 Feb. You nailed it though. Same thing TFSC said.
