  1. Hence the title of the topic. I am going to have to go ahead and disagree with you there. (Bill Lumbergh style) The guy is simply a tool for calling the "runway" a weapons system. PA prep or not. Unfortunately, this issue isn't an isolated one and this will not be the last we hear of this misused phrase.
  2. Unfortunately, that phrase has become one of the many totally ambiguous pieces of military jargon to be utilized at every opportunity. Is this forum a "weapons system" ?
  3. 2 Erdinger is outstanding. We would survive on it when doing VP ops in Sarajevo. No Gen Ord 1 in Bosnia which was a welcome trip after 12 months of it in Kosovo.
  4. M2, I totally agree. Last time I checked 2 counts of assault, one including a police officer,(later in the vid) would land you in jail. Not to fault his technique of keeping his helmet on during the "fist" fight. Its amazing how if that same incident would happen outside the stadium how different the outcome would be. I am all for beating each other on the field, but there is a definite line of when it becomes unacceptable.(ie. when the game is over) I wont even get into the role model issue.
  5. snizz, Let me know if I can send any your way. Leinie's is a great backup.
  6. 2. Taste is a plus, but you can argue when the price is right.
  7. Pilsner Urquell is one of my favorites. Macro: Anything Free Micro: Spotted Cow (If you are ever in Wisconsin) 312 Delicious. Bells is top notch.
  8. Exactly. Cyber espionage is very much running behind the scenes.
  9. Word. Lets not even get into the Army doing away with a perfectly good flight uniform. We don't want you pilots thinking your special in your green pajamas. Lets waste more money on three different patterns and numerous different approved T-shirts. Great OER/OPR bullet.
  10. I am a prior Army Commissioned guy as well as a prior warrant. I just got hired with a C-130 unit in the area and was 5 years into my ADSO from flight school. NGB gave the OK for me to transfer and continue my ADSO with the AF. I was very forward with my command with what I was doing and that made the interview process a little easier. I am just finishing the paperwork process then looking forward to the FWQ course. Let me know if I can help. Karl I didnt answer your questions. You can re commission with NO OTS. I did it before I left the Army. There is no age waiver since you are already a rated pilot. I attached the reg regarding converting your Army wings to AF Rotor Only. The biggest step is finding a unit to hire you. I was close on several occasions, but finally I got hired. Hopefully this helps. Karl Pages 18-25 AFI11-402.pdf

    Gun Talk

Where in my post did I say it was truth? I merely asked a question in order to gain others opinions and I have yours. I would figure that the "Gun Talk" forum would be a place for such opinions. If you think that truth can be found on the internet I am wasting my breath. Thanks for the greeting though. What are you shooting these days besides your mouth?

    Gun Talk

I merely posted an email I received. I am certainly not generating this crap. I hate forwards as much as the next guy. I figured this post would be an excellent place for this information to be confirmed or denied, since it is in fact the "Pistol and Rifle forum." Why get so emotionally invested?

    Gun Talk

Just received this email today. Ammo prices have certainly been fluctuating and perhaps this may explain why. What do you think? Nobody can sell any ammunition after June 30, 2009. It has already started... Ammunition Accountability Legislation. Remember how Obama said that he wasn't going to take your guns? Well, it seems that his allies in the anti-gun world have no problem with taking your ammo! The bill that is being pushed in 18 states (including Illinois and Indiana) requires all ammunition to be encoded by the manufacture a data base of all ammunition sales. So they will know how much you buy and what calibers. Nobody can sell any ammunition after June 30, 2009 unless the ammunition is coded. Any privately held uncoded ammunition must be destroyed by July 1, 2011. (Including hand loaded ammo). They will also charge a .05 cent tax on every round so every box of ammo you buy will go up at least $2.50 or more! If they can deprive you of ammo they do not need to take your gun! This legislation is currently pending in 18 states: Alabama, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Mississippi, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Washington. Send to your friends in these states AND *fight* to dissolve *this* */BILL!!/* To find more about the anti-gun group that is sponsoring this legislation and the specific legislation for each state, go to: http://ammunitionaccountability.org/Legislation.htm
