Bin Laden dead!
In my years at Carolina, Reggie Love (Dook basketball/football player) thought it was a good idea to get pass-out drunk at a fraternity house in Chapel Hill and ended up with teabag photos on the interwebs. No, I was not there.

T-38 lands gear-up: crew ok
I was referring to the CBM incident, which was an intentional gear-up.

T-38 lands gear-up: crew ok
I landed on the center runway a few minutes after that intentional gear-up. I was surprised at how quickly it stopped and with very little damage.

You flew some Arabian horses around in a grey and maroon cattle car?

Aviation Continuation Pay (ACP - The Bonus)
Anyone want to guess on the total take for the current eligibles? The percentage I heard today (thus far) is barely double digits.

Irrelevant; You're going to FAIP.

Promotion and PRF Information
On second thought, please do.

Promotion and PRF Information
Because the overmanned career fields made unnecessary promotions. The answer is very clear-- LAF Rated and LAF non-Rated boards.

Promotion and PRF Information
Pros and Cons to this I suppose. My board met 20 months ago, announced 15 months ago, and I still have to wait 1,000 more line numbers before I can pin-on O-4.

Promotion and PRF Information
AF Times says 74.4% for IPZ. That's the only stat I've seen.

Asiana 777 Crash at SFO
The civilian training I've received confirms this. It's Automate-Aviate-Navigate-Communicate. 180 degrees out from military flying. If the jet isn't doing what you want, click and autopilot is off. Back when I was a UPT instructor 5+ years ago, the students weren't allowed to use the autopilot in the first block of training. I'm curious if that's changed by now.

Aviation Continuation Pay (ACP - The Bonus)
So matmacwc and 11Fs, which would you rather have on your wing, a FAIP or a First Assignment Drone Operator?
-
Aviation Continuation Pay (ACP - The Bonus)
Well then, please elaborate.

Aviation Continuation Pay (ACP - The Bonus)
A Major FAIP? LMAO Most FAIPs finish at most around a 2 year Capt, right?

Promotion and PRF Information
What's the solution? Separate rated and non-rated boards? Let the shoes who have racked up multiple AADs because they've never deployed and work 5 hours a day go against their own.

National Air Cargo 747 Crash at Bagram
It has to be cheaper to ship MRAPs back via land/rail and eventually sea back to the US, right? There's no rush in getting them back to the States... hell, leave them in Germany until we invade <insert middle eastern country here> next.

C-17 lands short at Dover
Anybody know what happened to the guy who started the now-defunct raptorpilot.com? He was a few classes behind me in UPT and I think ended up at Charleston...

No Flight Suits
I haven't received a new green flight suit in over 5 years. Someone refresh my memory on how many I'm authorized per year by reg?

Apparently having "good hands" no longer matters....
Autopilot off. Awesome pilot on.

10+ years ago, this was the case.
