Keep the current test in place; eliminate the “minimum passing standards” for each event. All that matters is if you get above a 75.
Unfortunately the fear among the generals is seeing a bunch of fats kids in their uniform, so therein lies the purpose of the waist measurement. There are multiple ways to skin the cat, and it all depends on what you think is the best way to achieve fitness; i.e. Running, weight training, or HIIT.

The best use of the DA is to get the late bloomers or those with bad timing due to PCS, extended deployments, etc to school.
This absolutely would be the best way to use a DA. But as that is common sense and logical; it has no place in this decision process 😬
I hope this turns out like it should...

Let's hope this doesn't turn into the "Exec w/ an IDE follow-on" program.
Not any knock on those who put in their time on that desk, but Big Blue has enabled sending 220 Execs directly to school...do we think a Wing/CC will send anyone else??

Each lead MAJCOM will have a list of “certified” Simulators that meet the requirement to log an OFDA creditable flight.

That PR stunt is what is wrong with the Air Force and society. If women are equal to and as capable as men, then why does this warrant celebration?
As much as many old crusty fliers hate to admit, but women can and want to fly in the USAF. And we celebrate someone who is a “first”. Having a female face can be a powerful recruitment tool to appeal to the people who we protect. And per most comments about her, she was a great aviator as well; i.e. not just a pretty face

Two weeks...most “leaders” are still trying to play catch up to their new responsibilities at two weeks. Something is really fishy, especially considering how big a deal it was for her to lead the demo team.

Because he’s APZ? Isn’t the Board instructed to disregard year group these days?
Looking at AFPC stats with a P and APZ
2018: 2.5%
2017: 3.2%
2016: 0.6%
2015: 2.9%
2014: 0.2%
So chances aren’t in their favor without DP

That’s the oddest PRF I’ve ever seen, and I’ve seen 100s
How long ago was this??
This narrative method is the way some leaders like to write their PRF’s. But that “If I had one more” push line is like the Super P -
The only people I have seen/heard talking about the green bags going away are people on Baseops.net freaking out about heritage and looking cool.

That bag intimidates people.
And this right here is why the OCP becoming mandatory wear is another goal of Big Blue. We all need to be “equal”

It is coded as a 0 on the SURF which correlates to STFU and color. Thanks.
Is your CC questioning you about wearing a bag? Or are you just trying to not rock the boat? Can always wear it until it becomes an issue...unless your the only one in the cube farm doing it ;) -
I just closed on my new house at my impending PCS location using the team from Trident loans. This was an incredibly smooth process! My lead was John with assist by Lisa. They were both incredibly quick with communication and information they needed to complete the process. There were some minor hiccups; but I attribute that to the underwriters being diligent and doing their piece of the puzzle. Big thumbs up for this team!

Don’t get me wrong I don’t hate bags or bag people, but we’ve got 99 climate culture problems and 1 piece vs 2 piece fixes none of them.
To you guys that want to make this your hill to die on, you’re missing the forest for the tree with this. The military regardless of branch needs you right now. More than you need it for that point. If your gonna piss capital away on which uniform you can look cooler wearing during your next voluntold 179, I can’t help you. I’m more worried about big problems than looking cool at location X.

As an Air Force aviator, I enjoy the heritage of my service and that includes being a bag wearer. Thanks for your input; and have fun shitting in the woods in your OCP’s- 6

It all comes down to the DP vs P. And apparently if you are a P you need the silver bullet or some other stratified P or else your ed.

This is the absolute truth, DP your okay, P is a coin flip -
For those of you who didn’t make the cut, I would call AFPC immediately and talk to the promotions counsellor (believe her name is Autumn Foley). If you see or find a mistake in your record, you can submit a request to meet a supplemental board. It’s worth a shot. As one who didn’t make the grade, it’s a shitty feeling, but not the end of your career. If you choose to stay in, find the job that’s best for you and your family. And realistically, unless you can earn a APZ DP, your not getting promoted. It’s an imperfect, brutal system.

Any details on any of you getting passed over? P? DP? I'm a 4 APZ with a DP..
If you look at the past stats on AFPC, having the DP is what’s important. If your IPZ or 3APZ, doesn’t really matter, just having the DP is vital. Good luck brother -
Why would anyone wear A2CUs to the office in garrison? If we start doing that en mass, then we’re giving them an excuse to take our bags away.
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Exactly; It’s an Army Uniform that the DoD is adopting to save money for deployed Ops. If we all willing stop wearing our Flight Suits to work because there is a “new shiny” option available, it’s our own fault when they get replaced. As Charleton Heston said “From my cold dead hands”!- 2
-
Just because we’re authorized to wear them tomorrow, unless your leadership is saying you have to, just continue with your bag. Personally I’ll wear mine as long as I can, I could care less what I can wear.

Don’t know how many on this forum knew Reagan Whitlow, but he died in a private plane crash tonight, the C-130 community lost a fantastic pilot and better person. Here’s a toast...
-
So will we be forced to wear the 2 piece flt suit or has that not been clarified yet?
It will be a sad day if we aren’t allowed to wear flight suits; and I get all the “more comfortable” talk. But I’m an Air Force aviator, I didn’t join the Army. I want my green pajamas!- 8

Don't know about SOS, I received credits for ACSC. Pleasr don't let anyone dissuade you from pursuing a Masters, it's your own choice. Just because the Air Force policy is masking AAD today; It can absolutely change when someone else takes over. Enjoy the BlackBoard ;)

I know there will be the inevitable “he said, she said” aspect of this. Regardless, is there any reason we should be trying to excuse a married O-6 Commander having any type of physical relationship with a SrA...Update on the firing of the 375 AMW/CC.Fired Air Force wing commander charged with sexual assault, cruelty.

Mandatory OCP wear date is 2021 for all USAF personnel...That’s plenty of time for the Army to come up with a new uniform that’s differs from what we’ll be forced to wear.

Looks like it’s a wrap for the flying mission at the Puerto Rico ANG.They had to send all their flyers through a gentleman’s “requal” last summer...
