  1. The sport pilot thing really is only a good option if for some reason you cant a medical. I would get teh private, then if for some reason you cant keep you medical but you can keep your drivers license then you can exercise sport pilot priveleges. Thats how I understand it, if anyone knows any different please say so, I dont want to give a guy wrong information. I'll look into more, but thats what I understood. But my advice anyways, get the private, if you can. Leave the sport pilot option till you know for sure you cant get it
  2. When I was in racing school, my instructor had is leathers made up in Trekkie uniform like Capt. Kirk. It was well um interesting...
  3. Boom, Everyone! You can come too... we'll open it up to all AF members. We might need a couple cases of Yuengling!
  4. M2, ok I re-thought that... safer.... maybe not. Hey if you ever need someone to keep the seat warm on that bike, or the battery charged you let me know, I would be glad to help
  5. I was thinking about taking my track bike to UPT (I think they would crap themselves seeing it in the driveway) but Hallet Motorsports park is over an hour away, and well its way too distracting for me. Guess I'll leave it at home.... :( However these motocross tracks sound interesting, sounds like safer stress relief than cagers on the roads or 150 mph around a track... hmmmm Arghhh... I should probably just concentrate on flying this year... Sidenote... anyone want to start an endurance race team of AF pilots in 2007????
  6. Do race Licenses count??? JK!!!
  7. 2nd...1st one was when I signed up, it was way to long Why do you ask? and yes I do race... if thats what you are wondering. Hey it looks like a great recruiting tool, I was just not expecting it when I was surfing around today. I would probably crap my pants if I saw that sitting in a parking alot at the mall! [ 14. 8. Yeah,I just thought it was funny looking...
  9. For stablity I wouldnt drop your forks that far. Normally when I am racing the top of my forks are about 20mm from the top of the triple tree. If you are looking for looks cool then go for it, but if you are riding fast, You want to get those forks revalved, and not Race Tech... You really should looking into getting them done by either Thermosman or GMD. They both are awesome, and improve handling 100%. Also I would say that you should get a new rear shock. Olins, Penske, or Fox would be the best, you can pick them up used on Ebay and all you have to do is change the oil or buy them from a race shop new. They are easy to install and they too improve handling by MILES!!! For honda stuff you can get it from Ed's Honda ask for Darrin Talbot if you call, he is the parts manager and really good. For Suzuki stuff go to Ron Ayers Anyways, enough from me, Major I hope some day we can ride together, you to Boom since it seems like you are at McGuire and someday hopefully I will be too. Until then ride safe Edit: Oh yeah on tbe ground I have done 167 down the front straight at Grattan on a GSXR 600... In a plane, my Diamond did 120 once!!! HAHA and my P210 did 220 GS coming back FL [ 13. September 2005, 23:03: Message edited by: GSXR6Racer ]
  10. Ok so here I am getting ready to go to Vance, and I am looking at my flightsuit I am wondering, "How do I iron that thing?" So I investigate AFI 36-2903 and I can't find anything on proper wear, then I do the search on here, and all I find is ROTC kids wearing theirs to class. So my question is how do i iron this thing properly, do I put creases in the arms and legs? or no creases? and is there any easy way of doing that you guys know of? Thanks in advance

  16. The 1st class is 20/20 corrected and it goes on the medical slip not your license. And you can take my opinion with a grain of salt, but I thought that the FAA medical was alittle less strict than the Flying Class I, so you may be able to squeeze by without any problems. I have contacts and glasses and a 1st class medical and it just says where corrective lenses, no other restrictions.
  17. I graduated from Riddle in 03 and I did the date a Riddle girl thing... They suck... Find girls from elsewhere, Florida is a big state

  20. It is alittle strange that recently alot 15-16 years have been posting on here the same questions lately. It just got me wondering personally. Maybe I should put civilian pilot in my profile though so it is not mistaken that I am claiming to be a military pilot already. My bad, I suck
  21. I went to Embry-Riddle I was just stating facts, thats about what Riddles gonna cost to fly when he gets old enough to go there. Hell it cost me $110,000 approx. 2 yrs ago when I graduated from there.
