I don't know what reg it is. I want to go so I asked the chief pilot at the unit I that selected me and he ran the question up the chain. What came back down from the IFS program manager was starting FY13, applicants with a PPL will not attend.

New regulation says if you have a PPL you will not attend IFS.

Yeah, im assuming ill be going to OTS in jan-feb...maybe i'll see you there.

Anybody else got a class date? UPT or OTS?

The 9 week change, as I have heard, is for OTS at the current moment. I have heard that OTS and AMS might merge into one course however, it will take a while for this to happen.

There is talk of changing it to a 9 week program instead of 13. The major changes are supposed to take place starting with class 13-02.

I received a projected UPT date, but not OTS since there are major changes taking place at OTS in terms of class dates. I was told OTS dates will come soon.
