The media is tracking this, they could make a whole lot of hay out of it if they want to.  Thankfully they didn’t see the negative Obama patches I’ve seen floating around.  The libs starting kicking out ROTC  programs from universities in the 90’s due to don’t ask don’t tell, of course the more liberal colleges obliged (I got caught in the middle of it, college I wanted to go to kicked ROTC out).  All that was left was ROTC detachments a conservative schools, 25 years later you get a lot of more conservative officers running your Air Force.  I’m not complaining, im in that group, but the “chickens” have definitely come home to roost.

I have dudes walking into my office with family problems. I tell them I cannot execute the mission without their family affairs being in order. Your family does play a role in executing the mission. I need dudes who can delegate and punch at COB, not one minute late. If you have to leave early for your kids activities, that's okay with me too. If you are having family problems, let me know and I'll give you a day to recage with the wife especially. I should be the last person to leave the office.

I have to tell dudes to get out of the office on a Friday afternoon and go home to their families. When I see people staying late, it's for promotion purposes in my opinion. I tell those individuals I need leaders who are about efficiency, getting tasks accomplished earlier so you don't stay late, and who believe in family first. If you're a workaholic, then you are going to lead the same way.

The CC and Super determine who gets submitted for strats for enlisted. The 3 dudes who stay late I noticed, none of them were submitted. A MSgt was asking my NCOIC if there is more he can do. I heard my NCOIC telling him what I need you to do is go home to your family.

    More of this.

  3. So I know this guy, I told him this was normal for the most part and easily explainable.  It’s good it’s on his radar, I’m sure there’s a fairly high percentage of dudes that have been through this.  It could come up in a security clearance interview.  There was a topic on meds, but this kid was never on meds.  What do the masses think?  I used the f’ing search function, mostly.

When I was very young one of my parents passed away in an accident.  My other parent wanted me to see a counselor/psychiatrist about it.  I ended up having a pretty good relationship with the psychiatrist and met with him regularly from a young age through most of highschool.  I wasn't being "treated" for anything (at least as far as I knew) nor was I ever on any meds, we mostly talked about politics and school - but I just found out that he may have diagnosed me with some sort of very minor anxiety condition so that it could be paid through insurance.  I'm meeting with him soon to get some more detailed info on my medical history.

DoDI 6130.03 says the following is disqualifying:

    q. History of anxiety disorders if:

    (1) Outpatient care including counseling was required for longer than 12 cumulative months.

    (2) Symptomatic or treatment within the last 36 months.

     (3) The applicant required any inpatient treatment in a hospital or residential facility.

    (4) Any recurrence.

     (5) Any suicidality (in accordance with Paragraph 5.28.m.).

I may need a waiver.  Is this even waiverable?  Am I screwed?

Never met 4 Quarts at Luke?

Maybe, I’m one of the weird cases that went to Springfield and only went to Luke TDY at the most 2 weeks.  Not a lot of Luke experience other than dropping off our old jets for them to use.

  5. So if you disagree with him, your publically called out with your employer? Last time I checked, you can fight against ideas and people you disagree with, legally.  Calling out and labeling people like he did is weak intellectually and I’m sure there is some bullying law being broken.  Looks like he’s stalking people on Facebook as well, and he wonders why people think he’s a nut.  I guess he’s off his meds, not that all 3 people that read it would agree with him anyway.

AD guys aren’t TDY to Randolph (for the most part) so It’s just however much more BAH is for San Antonio than the UPT bases.

I left RPAs last year but there was a heavy emphasis of making IQT SIM only, which would also cut costs.

What?  There are more TDY students there for PIT than anything else, your data on the mig is incorrect.

Any other sins you would like to document forever on Air Force bureaucratic paperwork? Ever lie, cheat, steal, jerk off to pics of your step sister?

Don't be dumb. You didn't smoke weed once.

Do what you wish, but someday they’ll be a mission you may want to get into.  That mission may require a lie detector test, then what?

Does anyone have any SA on the possibility of switching airframes from a fighter to a non-ACC heavy without a medical DQ for ejection seats? Is there any chance, especially with the current climate and mysteries of how AFPC works, it could happen?

    She isn’t worth it.

A few weeks back I was visiting my parents in a state where MJ is legal and after dinner I grabbed for an artisan caramel I saw. Luckily my sister saw me because it was her edible MJ and stopped me.

I’m not sure what I would have done if I had eaten it. Tell the USAF and get screwed or hope I don’t get popped for a drug test.

What would you dudes have done?

,For those who don’t know, and I’d guess quite a few, you would know right away something tastes different.  It’s a lot more “earthy” and it takes a bit more butter to activate the THC.  When your memory starts to go away and you laugh at everything, you’re busted.  I’d fess up, shit stays in your system for like 30 days, it’s a simple oops I’d hope.

on a side note, I’ve been told if you have no gal bladder edibles won’t work at all.

  10. He won’t lose shit, there are rules for thee and rules for me.  What is the US govt. going to do?  Magic another space X into existence?  I’d tell them to pound sand if I were in his shoes, he holds all the cards.  FWIW, the “Germans” that helped out in the 40’s in New Mexico were Nazis 5 minutes before they showed up on the Manhattan project and they were mostly addicted to opioids.  My point is, they’ll just decide he’s too important for it to matter.
