  1. We do in the legacy Herc via the before takeoff checklist after the closeout of the ERO ops stop checklist. Since I've been flying it everyone said "previously checked". After this everyone has stopped saying previously checked and accomplishes a full flight controls check.
  2. Sorry long night forgot there were other options than people coming here off the street. I done ######ed up and am now admitting it...big sigh.
  3. Ya to be honest, the few times I had to sleep in the car, I actually put the keys on the ground under the car so that they were not in the cabin with me.
  4. I have an under age too, it was also thrown out, but I disclosed anyway, and I was fine, I ended up getting hired. Honestly if everything you said is true, props for not driving. We've been there and I know how tempting the bed can be vs sleeping it off in the car. Anyway, just explain what happened and how you learned from it in the interview, you'll be alright.
  5. Good for you guys, I'll tell the other UPT guy in unit to try and go that way instead of waiting for Wright Patt in June.
  6. from the looks of that worst case scenario would say that my case would go to MAJCOM, but I'm under 4.00 for the refractive. If you've got anything on safety waivers that would be cool. My buttocks to knee sitting length was 1/8" too long. Talk about scary, all they said was "you're too tall" then eventually I got the whole story haha. Just like everyone else has to, I'm gonna be patient.
  7. Thats encouraging to know, thanks for the update.
  8. I would definitely not plan on it, but who knows they may be a model of efficiency for you, seems like it's a crap shoot. To be completely honest I planned on waiting at least 6 months to get certified (it's not like I didn't know I would need a waiver for the stigmatism before going down there), and that was before I knew they were moving up to Dayton! Frustrating process man, at this rate I'll be an airline pilot or whatever before I ever get to AMS, let alone UPT, just gotta stick it out.
  9. I did my FC1 in October and am awaiting 2 waivers. One is pretty normal, the other is eye stuff, an A-stigmatism, so I don't know if thats more exotic or normal. That being said, is that entire waiver process on hold for everyone until April as well?
