Just confirmed... the PT tests we took at AMS are not official, and scores are not counted in the fitness management system. Lame.

If you will ever use a mess dress again in the future, I suggest buying it now, getting it properly tailored, and stashing it in someones car. It was a pain in the ass to get to the rental place to get measured, and the suits are about 20 years old and smell like it.

Any other non priors get that cyber awareness certificate done? It's been a huge ######ing pain in the ass. I got CAC reader installed on my work computer, had to call ARCnet to get the course transferred from ADLS, downloaded some 150mb .exe file, sat through the 45 minutes of bullshit, and when the thing was done, it just exited out without recording any completion or certificate....\
Edit -- after doing it a 2nd time, you have to actually click on the last link "Conclusion" where it has the completion code and print certificate.
Ugh that was painful

Where does one complete the DoD Cyber Awareness course? I won't be going to my unit again prior to AMS start
ALCON on upcoming AMS class and clearly defined items:
The dates for AMS 14-04 are now officially as follows: 24 Mar 14 - 14 May 14. The website will be updated NLT 15 Mar 14. Students need to arrive on station on Saturday, 22 Mar 14, and are scheduled to in-process on Sunday, 23 Mar 14, at 0800. Please ensure all students arrive with the following forms to be turned in during in-processing on Sunday: (1) DoD CyberAwareness Certificate, (2) AF4394, and (3) DD2875.
Here is guidance on completing the DD 2875:
- The system name is Maxwell NIPRNET.
- Location is Maxwell AFB.
- Part I complete using your current organization
- Block 13 will read: Attending AMS from 24 Mar 14 to 14 May 14
- Block 17-19 will be completed by your current supervisor
- Part III will be completed by your current security manager
Please DO NOT email these forms. The student should provide hard copies during in-processing on Sunday, 23 Mar 14. -

Just got my dates for March class.
Also got a whole slew of attachments and forms to fill out. An excel spreadsheet with 30 columns of random info to fill out, a computer account form, and a blurb about having to bring an Airmans Manual? You all get the same thing?
Also, nothing about having to take a PT test. And it's about 30 days out now...

I would assume 14-04 would be outside of the OCT-MAR timeframe.
Does anyone know what day graduation will be on now, since this class is supposedly longer now?

Suggest reading previous advice. If you don't have it... its not inspect-able, get it? Obviously don't have an empty closet, but have in there what you are being expected to wear in the first few weeks.
And the "Youll find out when you get here" will be after you lose access to your car. Overall, this is very minute. Don't over-think things. There will plenty other larger, big-picture items to worry about.
