    As per them stopping around 16-13, according to the AFPC guy who was here a month or two back, they aren't going anywhere.

    https://www.amc.af.mil/shared/media/document/AFD-130308-090.pdf page 96 talks about the baggage service center for AMC. Don't know if this would apply if you didn't go through a pax terminal but it might be worth a try. Also the JAG claims process (https://claims.jag.af.mil/) may be the way to go.
