The USAF flew them for years as VC-140's, mostly out of the 89th, then in the eighties used them for flightcheck ops in europe. You'll still occasionally see a re-engined Jetstar like the one in the photo, you pretty much have to go to Mexico to see any of the GE Turbojet-powered airframes still flying these days.
