Thanks for the correction YC

Eh, I was just trying to prove to myself that I remember something from nav training.

And what do I remember? Crazy Woman VOR. Funny the things that stick out.

Yeah, what was great was when I saw it I was flying with a co that I think was crazy anyway. I'm not going to name names, since I have no idea where she is now (I PCS'd 1.5 years ago), but it stuck for that reason.

Hopefully, her husband is no longer dancing with the man/girls in Singapore.......

When you guys have a callsign that has a '9' in it do you always say "X niner" or "niner X", or just kinda blow it off? I wouldn't think anyone would get too chafed about it..

I'm sorry, you're trailing off - did I catch a niner in there? Were you calling from a Walkie Talkie?

No - we don't say 'Niner' on the radio.

In Battle Creek, MI, we have an IAF called BEJAE. "Approach, we'd like the full procedure, can we get BEJAE?"

Somewhere out in the Southeast Asia / Pacific region there are reporting points named SEKSI and NIPIL. It was kinda funny for ATC to ask you for your "sexy nipple estimates" on HF.
