In my tenure I’ve seen the UPT starting age go from 27 to 30 to maybe 33?

What is the latest gouge? Is 33 the limit? Are waivers likely or unlikely?

My unit is accepting packages right now and they just want to make sure they aren’t turning away qualified candidates.

The latest MFR stated 33 yrs and 8 yrs Total federal commission time (for if you come across non rated officers from other branches)… from what I saw at UPT last year, if a unit wanted to sponsor a candidate above 33, it was approved. There was a 39 yr old NAV going thru upt as a major…. Plenty of old bros out there hacking it.

Thanks CH47! What is this MFR called? I’ll try to Google it and get it to those guys.
