My wife goes to college with someone who would like to join the AF through OTS and become a PJ. Anyone have any insight on if this is even possible or how difficult it would be? I have no idea how the recruiting process/pipeline is for this sort of thing.

Have him call the Portland Guard STS and talk to one of the Chiefs. It'd be tough to become a CRO off the street, but they were looking for PJs.
