January 11, 201411 yr I have friends who fly for Avenge, and they confirmed the civilian killed was one of theirs.
January 11, 201411 yr When I was wrapping up my MC-12 tour, some of the EFIS-equipped MC-12s from Balad were being transferred to the Army, so unless you have intimate knowledge of this mishap, I wouldn't rule out the possibility. Army flies with mixed crews as well. Any EFIS or otherwise equipped MC-12 became something not an MC-12 when it left the Air Force.
January 11, 201411 yr These are highly mod'd King Air 300's, we do have 350's, just not MC's at least not yet.
January 13, 201411 yr I went to college with Andrew McAdams, he was a fellow guardsman and a prior E. Really solid dude and have had my fair share of beers with him. He leaves behind a wife and a 3 month old daughter. Donations can be made at the link below https://www.gofundme.com/67s1rc Him, Him
April 27, 201411 yr I know there's two different mishaps in this thread, but bump for the original.
April 28, 201411 yr I know there's two different mishaps in this thread, but bump for the original. It was exactly a year ago. The CC recalled everyone, when we walked into the squadron the entire chain of command and chaplain was there. Several people were crying. Darkest day I've witnessed in the Air Force. There were a lot if young LTs and airmen that had never had anything like this happen in their squadron before. If anything good came out of that incident, it taught us to never ever be complacent and to take this job as seriously as possible. A toast, rest in peace brothers.
