Has anyone been able to get their CAC reader to work on a MAC not using a windows partition, just plain ole OS X?

Yes, follow matmacwc's link. It works hit or miss for webmail but is near 100% for portal stuff.

yep, on it right now. It actually woks better for webmail and SMS than my windows pc did....

Yes. I have a MacBook Pro, Snow Leopard 10.6.5. I just connect my USB CAC reader to the MacBook, go to the webmail site, selected my email certificate, typed in my pin and it works great.

I assume you are using Safari. Or some other browser?

Google Chrome works too with OS X 10.6.5.
