  1. Same. My guess is they’re concurrent classes between the 87th and 434th. Might call the UTM tomorrow to ask which we’ll be in
  2. 26 June IPT from Laughlin here; I talked to someone from the STUS today, and was only told that the possible locations will be San Marcos, Denton, and Georgetown. I hope 26 and 30 June are the same, because San Marcos is great! Also, it seems we’re going to have a higher than usual amount of crossflow folks in the May/June classes, since ROTC / Academy grads will have just graduated.
  3. Anyone know when we can expect to go to SERE? The IPT course information from ETCA states that SERE is a prerequisite. That said, the same document says that it’s still actively being written due to the newness of IPT.
  4. Did you have to ask, and did they specify which one in Arizona? Prescott or Phoenix?
  5. SV8IPT LJ RNLTD 11 May IPT Start Date 26 June Anyone know if I can decode IPT location, or do I have to call?
  6. A friend at Laughlin told me that they had an overall pilot projection shortage for the year, and they had to augment their numbers by pulling from CSO/RPA/alternates/etc. Laughlin seems to have the best mx and moves the most pilots, so that’s played into it as well. Additionally, they’re implementing a new program combining T-38 phase and IFF fundamentals that they’re calling “FBF” (Fighter Bomber Fundamentals) which is expected to move more pilots through that track. Something “going down” made it sound more dramatic, but that’s all I know.
  7. They’ll be getting a mass influx of emails if not; I heard today that RPA students on casual status got the same treatment as CSOs with offers to go manned. I wonder if they’re giving them all the soonest dates?
  8. I figure some folks in here might still get notifications for this board like I do for the FY26 one… if so, can anyone that’s been through IPT speak to the different locations and potential differences in training syllabi? Us FY26 selects are curious as we wait impatiently for assignments. Thanks!
  9. Thanks! How was IPT, and is there any way we can influence where we go? Peachtree is my most desired spot, it’s right next to home Did you and your class feel ready for T-6s after IPT?
  10. Last year’s forum theorized that assignments were loaded based on merit, like those will more competitive packages were given earlier class dates. No idea if that was true. I’ll report my last initial when my dates are loaded lol
  11. Do those come via email or is CSS / CC notified first?
  12. I’m in a similar boat. At least I won’t be checking MyFSS 4x a day anymore! At least until Feb. Is anyone doing anything to prepare? As an RPA bro, I feel more prepared for UPT than IPT. I want to know more about the learning environment at IPT, compared to Doss (are the civilian CFIs trying to emulate mil flight training?) and how students’ experiences across the locations may be different.
  13. Reading through the FY25 forum, assignments were loaded ~60 days after PSDM release; the earliest RNLTDs ranged from 1-3 months from then. Within a few days, people were reporting RNLTDs of 4-8 months after release (8 months seemed to be an outlier.) One person’s theory was that dates were being given based on order of merit (more competitive selects were given earlier dates) but this is not confirmed. If our timeline is similar, and assignments are loaded next month, I estimate the first RNLTDs in April-June, with some in July-September. Feel free to read through last year’s board and check my math.
