  1. Hoping info starts to trickle out this week. Ideally we all have something before the holiday lull.
  2. Still no word since the email from 7 Nov. Without anything loaded in MilPDS my FSS is getting ansy--I was supposed to PCS at the end of November but my understanding of the PSDM is that all pending assignments are to be cancelled. Nothing short of laying siege to my apartment will get me to move.
  3. They double check everything like @Justwanttofly said, usually takes about 2-3 full days. Eyes are the big thing. If you wear glasses follow their instructions about wearing them to a T. Iirc about 30% of attendees (including AFROTC and Guard/Reserve) pop something, with 20-25% being waiverable. So only 5-10% of everyone going to MFS gets DQ'd, presumably a lower percentage for those with FC1 in hand.
  4. Pretty shocked these stats didn't land you an ENJJPT slot. Must be some insane studs out there (who know a 3-star)
  5. Also Vance as top choice, got a few buddies from undergrad there already. Really hoping for Pensacola IPT. Scared shitless for formation flying. Spending as many hours as I can in the Milviz/Blackbird Microsoft Flight Simulator T-6A module—in reality I’m not sure if it’ll help.
  6. REMINDER: the PSDM is Controlled Unclassified Information. it is not authorized for distribution on non-AF networks or to individuals who cannot be confirmed DoD personnel.
  7. Also adding basic stats for future applicants to gauge their packages off of: 99 PCSM/94 Pilot, 80ish hours, PPL, 1/2 at Wing, med qual'ed by MFS, 1 year in non-rated career field, no deployment, LoRec from O-6 viper driver and former wing commander
  8. I'm happy to confirm you are better informed than I am. My commander received notification I was selected today. Keeping my fingers crossed for you all!!
  9. Huge--much better news than what my source had shared. Glad to hear they might've been misinformed!
  10. I can't get into specifics bc I suspect the info wasn't intended to be a public release but they're in my career field assigned to AFPC.
  11. What I know: AFPC/DPMO personnel working UFT packages were furloughed two days after the board finalized their list. So while they had a little time to start moving packages forward, they had not yet gotten to coordinating with A1, assignments teams, etc. before the shutdown. Uniformed personnel at AFPC should still be <working> but my understanding is the UFT team is entirely civilians. 😞 Speculation: they will probably push faster once the govt reopens, but only so much can be done in so long. The time AFPC can "flex" their standard timeline to accelerate processing results is the difference between the standard release date and a delayed release that still arrives earlier than the lag duration of the shutdown. But this year the selection process timeline was shortened (down to 3 months instead of 3.5 months), so they may already be on a condensed timeline and therefore not have much ability to accelerate release of results further. At least this pretty much guarantees nobody will be getting an RNLTD during the holidays.
  12. A little birdie from AFPC told me UFT board results processing is on pause due to the shutdown. I speculate we can expect the release of results to be delayed about as long as the shutdown lasts.
  13. I guess the extra training and hours can't hurt. Can't complain about free PIC time either
  14. Does anyone know/can corroborate the exemption criteria for IPT? This document from Columbus UPT states IPT earns the student an FAA single-engine private pilot license, instrument rating, and multi-engine [presumably private pilot, not commercial], but it doesn't say if you come in with those ratings you'll be exempt from IPT. I've heard of many cases when IFT was the standard that if you were selected for UPT through whatever selection process and already had a single-engine PPL when you arrived on station, you would be exempt from IFT, but I haven't heard confirmation of a similar practice for IPT and PP AMEL IR.
  15. Did you have PPL and those scores when you applied for FY23? I'm a young LT with pretty much the same scores as my only qualifications but no experience--trying to gauge my chances
