    I had the same thoughts going through UCT. I didn't feel like I had much tactical knowledge prior to the FTU and even less before going to ops. UFT is really designed to teach you how to not crash a jet and test your task management based on the 214 and 202. The FTU teaches you how to not kill yourself in your MDS while operating in the military environment. Ops teaches you how to be the tactical expert. You'll have plenty of time as the FNG to get into the 3-1, 3-3, 202v3, and all other pubs Hope this helps with some perspective.

    This was my 1st time applying and got alternate select. 41+ hours, 99 AFOQT, 82 PCSM, no PPL. I'm assuming I'll get an email next week with the official announcement explaining what to do next?
