  1. Update on the 144th/194th, board is being pushed to June with notifications mid-May, probably.
  2. A little bit of a unique case, but thought I would post my timeline in case it helps anyone in the future! Guard Fighter, 2d Lt Commissioned out of AFROTC Begin College/AFROTC: August 2016 AFOQT: September 2017 TBAS: March 2018 AFROTC Field Training: June/July 2018 Reserve Rated Board(RCP-R)/Selection/Notification: October/November 2018 FC1: May 2019 College Graduation/Commissioning: May 2020 Gained/In-Processing with 340FTG: June 2020 - UPT start date October 2020 Guard Fighter Interview/Selection: June 2020 (week after in-processing) Released from the Reserve/340FTG: October 2020 NGB Approval/Appointment/Swear into ANG: January 2021 UPT: September 2021, Vance AFB
  3. 194th is planning on April for now...stand by for notifications
  4. Nope, haven't actually started UPT yet. Getting sponsored by a fighter squadron actually pushed my dates back to align me with a 38 slot. I just made whatever connections I could, put in an app anywhere that would accept one, cold called and emailed random squadrons, rushed everywhere I could, etc.. lots of time and effort, but the real work hasn't even started. Super stoked for everything to come! I do know some studs that have been on the unsponsored path and made it into a fighter mid T-6s though. For those dudes, it was mainly performance and persistence based.
  5. Also was unsponsored with no high up connections; I will be heading to fighters. It's not common, but with good timing, luck, and a lot of hard work it is possible.
  6. It has definitely been an interesting start, but I am super stoked to be where I am at now!
  7. I recently commissioned out of AFROTC into the Reserve and am in the process of transitioning to the Guard. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions!
  8. The 144th sent out a formal email today for those interviewing and gave us a call yesterday for any others wondering. Good luck everyone interviewing!
