Today was not a good day for aviation. There was another crash in Canada, a 737. 12 people died.

That is absolutely positively awesome.

It would seem not, at least for the moment.
That's if they're using Firefox.

Just kidding, but seriously IE sucks big time. Move to Firefox or Chrome if you haven't already.
I looked here an on google but could not find out whether after disenrollment you still have your clearance. I was disenrolled after getting my clearance but it was not for integrity (I don't think HQ or the det looked at it like that at least). I asked one of the NCOs about a JPAS printout today and she said my clearance was revoked since I was out of the program. She said the AF can't have people not in running around with clearances. Can anyone confirm or deny this?
Awesome Finnish AF recruiting video. I know it's not Norwegian, but still cool.
BTW, there are sometimes NSFW ads on there.

I'm 5'7" and 150, so I don't think that will be an issue. You have a good point since I'm thinking if I get it, I might get the rear seat insert, but it might not be big enough for two people...
What do you guys think about a Hyosung GT250r? I know it has a small engine, but it would be a starter bike. I can get it for a little less than $1500. Good deal?
The ERAU library has one. You Worldwide guys might be able to snag the copy for a bit if you request it. I checked it out and it gave me goosebumps reading it in the door of my car right after I checked it out.
Just got dates today for training. Looks like I'm going to have a long time (22 July - 4 Jan) on casual at Randolf. What are the chances that the commander will let me flight instruct during the off time? Does anyone know if any regs which will prevent me from doing so?
I'm in the 558th Flight Training Squadron BTW.
I got the RPA slot back in Dec and just got dates today. Looks like we're sill going to ASBC.
14 May - DOC
08 June - EAD
17June - 22 July - ASBC
21 Sep - 22 Sep -Training, no more info
4 Jan - 2 April - Training. IFS?
On another note, if you rock out at IFS and any other training, you think there's any way to move up to a full pilot slot?
Damn, that's pretty crazy. I'm either driving or flying down tomorrow afternoon, so we'll see how it ends up. Guess some aircraft parking spots opened up for us.
Found it on airliners.net:

Really? I see why we need to follow their rules, but why make such a huge deal out of this?

Good info about the track. It's from July, so it might have changed some by now.
Col just called me. Got RPA. I'm glad as hell to get out of Force Support, but not sure at the same time since it's pretty certain that I won't ever fly a manned AF a/c. Glad to be in ops though.

I know the legality of it, I was just asking for opinions of whether or not it's out of line. I have noticed that on different forums online, most people tend to agree one way or another; it's just dependent on what the site's purpose is (ex. ccw site vs car enthusiast site)
I searched but couldn't find anything on it, but what's your take on ccw in a someone's house? On one hand, it defeats the purpose of concealed carry if you don't carry anywhere and take the mentality that "it's a good area of town" and leave it in your car. Do you ask permission to carry in someone's house (defeats the theory of ccw)? Or do you just use have a DADT policy in regards to it?
