  1.  I also find this 20 million number troubling. Good point about the Covid mail in ballots explaining part of this, but I would argue that during Covid, people were petrified to leave their homes, much less vote., especially Democrats, who seemed the most nervous about Covid.  I really find it incredulous that 20 million more votes were cast in 2020..

  2.  Big gender gap, women and young voters leaning to Harris, Men, to Trump. Reminds me of this scene in “The Godfather”. Women and kids rarely pay the price for dumb decisions. Men always pay the consequences and have to clean up the mess.

  3. Sad Day, always enjoyed refueling behind a -10. Great story about a KC-10. Panama Invasion, My Bud is in a 141 dropping cargo. The load gets hung and he flies around  with the cargo doors open for a while as the loads are trying to jettison the load. They finally get it jettisoned but now he’s low on gas. He has to divert to Rosy Roads, but needs to refuel. Stressful night so far, as they coordinate for a tanker and begin the rendevous, he see’s it’s a KC-10!. He’s like, Thank God, and as he’s approaching the contact he tells the crew, “Engage tractor Beam” because the -10 was much easier to refuel behind, and the envelope much larger..

  4.  This reminds me of a Nav we had in the squadron. When he started drinking he would concoct an outrageous  rumor and start to spread it around the base.  A week later we would laugh at all the guys who knew swore they heard this from a WinngCC or higher source.

  5.

If the polls still showed a close race between Biden and Trump they would still be lying to us and telling us Biden’s doing fine. It was only when the polls showed Biden was losing big, did they take him down.

  6. Thank You for the service you provide. I used MARS Radio extensivly during my career. During Desert Storm you guys kept us in touch with home, and provided hours of entertainment as we listened to some interesting phone patches, like  the guy who’s wife dumped him on air!!!  I also learned that my Son flew his initial solo in a Cessna, as I flew over Afghanistan.  I wished I were there in person, but I still got to speak with him after he landed.

  7.  We kept a bottle in my C-17 squadron. I actually flew at my airline with one of the F-4 pilots who was part of the Jeremiah Weed Legend. Larry Ernst.

  8. My Bud went to the T-1 retirement event they had at RND a few weeks ago. He said that they (ATC Brass) told the crowd the T-7 was still a few years away, like 2030ish! And that in the future the AF was looking at UPT being T-6 to T-7 for all pilots, like the old T-37 to T-38 syllabus of yore. That was from the mouths of the AETC Commanders. I’m sure some of you guys attended as well.

  9. Bottom line, those MudHen drivers went to bed with a smile on their face, knowing they did a great job. Plus they garnered the admiration and Thanks of another nation. They will be honored in the future. Nice Job!

  10. I took this photo on a visit to CBM back in 2014. Notice how lame and monochromatic my class patch looks compared to the colorful and clever themes from other classes! The one one the right was Class 87-05, the patch said, “The Need for Speed”  Top Gun had just premiered a week or so before they designed their patch.

  11. Not a Class Patch. My regular C-141 squadron patch on the left, the 18th MAS “Blue Diamonds.

the one on the right was the first SOLL II crew at McGuire, so we kept the same theme, but with our Grim Reaper motif..

  12. My Class Patch, perhaps the most boring annd uninspired ever designed. I can draw decently, so I was tasked to come up with some designs. I like heavy metal music and came up with about 5 other patch designs, one with Van Halen’s “Light Up the Sky” as a theme. My lame classmates chose this one, the worst of the bunch!  Then the guy who was tasked with getting them made chose a bargain basement company who only offered a few colors, he thought he did us a favor by saving money!,,The one on the right  was another I designed in 1991, for a Special  Ops crew I was on. Metallica’s Black Album was big at the time, so “Sleep with one eye Open” from Enter Sandman was perfect. The Grim Reaper was our mascot..
